It's Time To Show Your Total Powered Up Steem For August, 2022
Let's grow bigger Naija is a powerup contest that seek to encourage us all to build our steem powers by powering up our earnings and /or by buying steem with our fiat currency to power up. We are all aware that this is quite commendable and a move towards steemgrowth.
You will also be building your own future as you keep building your steempowers.
You will be able to support other upcoming newbies who are also desiring to build their own steempowers through your upvotes.
What You Are Expected To Do
The powerup you are to show is the total you powered up for the whole month of August, 2022. That is from 1st to 31st August and to find out, please go to this tool that is developed by @steemchiller here.
I want to see the entries at the comment section of this post. You are not required to make a special post for this contest but to show the screenshot and write about how you got the steem to power up in not less than 50 words as well as the benefits of powering up to you.
See what you need to do
Step 1: go to this tool
Step 2: select transfer to vesting
Step 3: enter your username, date range (from 2022-08-01 to 2022-08-31) and then click search. I have marked them all in the screenshot below
Steem 4: take screenshot of all the powerup history that will be displayed and upload at the comment section of this post
Then include your reasons for powerup and the benefits of powering up in not less than 50 words.
Please, do not make a special post for it unless you are just making posts that will be of real quality but you will still drop the screenshot for me here.
This contest ends on 31st of this August which is on Wednesday and the result will come out the next day.

How I Got The Steem I Powered Up
The steem I powered up for the month of August 2022 came from the payout of the post I made in the ecosystem while some came from the curation reward I got.

August Total Powerups: 163.822 Steem
I got the Steem I powered up from the earnings I made on my posts. By regularly converting earned SBD to Steem and with the earned Steem altogether, I have bigger percentage of Steem to power up on a regular basis.
For me,
My main reason is so I can build my Steempower as soon as possible
Another reason is to keep maintaining the club status. This is one of the initiatives I'm excited about.
Powerup helps me to grow my Steempower and as such I can give quality upvotes on others' posts giving me bigger curation rewards in return.
With increased SP, I am also able to delegate some to communities for support.

Hello Steem friends, here Is my entry.
I got the steem I powered up through series of my earning on posts I made over time.
One of the reasons I powerup is to build my steem power so that I can comfortably add value to this platform by supporting others with my vote.
Powering up teaches/gives me a savings mindset or mentality.
One Benefit of powerup is that, the more my steem power, the more bigger my curation reward comes when I support other steemians with my votes.

A day that's patiently waited for by all newbies who want to grow on Steemit, to show how much they've powered up their steem as per, I refused to be left out either.
My august power up history in the screenshot below;
All my power up earnings were gotten from posts I made and was voted on and little curation rewards also. I desired to buy and power up as a way to strengthen steem ecosystem but lacked the needful, I mean fiat.
Just dropped a post in this community celebrating my 3 months old account on Steemit. In the post, I hesitated not to list out my importance of power up and the benefits that comes with power up.
In as much as I'm yet to understand Steemit to the fullest yet I still believe in "savings". I understood also that those who have higher amount of steem power earns even more compare to those who have less, this is one big reason why I've choose to power up all my earnings. The benefits i've achieved so far is that, my curation rewards starts to grow, from nothing to about 0.001 steem I just love it.
