The Diary Game -09/Augus/2023|My First Experience Crossing a Big River.

Hello friends and everyone, I hope you all are doing fine. My day was very hectic today and I spent my day today on transit to get home from Nasarawa State to Taraba State.

I traveled from Kwara State to Abuja last week and today I am on my way to Taraba State where I am going to be staying for a while.

I woke up today very early in the morning around 5:30 AM so that I can meet up with the first-turn bus at the park. I took some minutes to shower and called my brother's family to tell them goodbye.

When my brother's family came out, they prayed for me and wish me a safe journey back home. My brother took me on his bike and to the park where I got a car to transport me to Taraba. I spent NGN 10,000 on the transportation charge.

The bus was delayed because the passengers did not come on time, so I had to wait. While waiting I bought some food (moimoi and Drinks). The bus starts the journey at around 11:00 AM.

We followed through Lafiya State, Plateau State before we Reach Taraba State. The journey was not easy because we faced some challenges on the way. On the highway, I noticed the people living in the rural locality mostly farm maize and groundnut, trailers, and large vehicles export grains that are sold outside the localities they are harvested.

Moving forward at the plateau state, I saw the Construction company working on the road, in the rural areas, I am sure that activities are to help the farmers have to assess to transport their farm produce to the market.

We then arrive at the Ibi bridge where we climb a very big ship that crosses our car and the passengers, I was very scared while we are in the middle of the river crossing.

The river is very big and because the river is very big, I had several imaginations of fear. We successfully cross the river and process with our journey.

When we reach Wukari, some of the passengers dropped then we proceed with the journey, the vehicle was moving very slowly, we reach jalingo by 10:00 pm, when we approach the welcome to jalingo sign board our vehicle broke down and we stopped there, our driver call another vehicle, so we wasted over 1 hour that night before the new vehicle arrive to take us to the town in jalingo.

Arriving home, I was so tired, I just took my shower and slept off. Despite the new experiences, thank God my journey was a success and I reach home safely. Thanks to Gif for everything.
