The diary game, attaining birthday party of a friend on a Valentine day. 14/02/2025

It was a happy weekend as the whole world was celebrating Valentine's Day which happened every year on the 14 February.
This year own was a boom as one of my friends celebrated her 40th birthday on Valentine's Day which is also her birthday.

My diarygame of yesterday was in another dimension and I woke up with so many things to be done. My writing will be very long so you have to exercise patience while reading and please read to the end

• Cooking
• Arranging with the driver to bring my kids home from school for their midterm break
• Going for a birthday party

This three sections really took my day off as I woke up I knell to my creator and I pray for the day protection.

Then I brush my teeth and dress up to the market to buy some food stuff so that I cook for my kids who came back from school, they have been away from home for the past 6 weeks. So yesterday my house was full because everyone came back home for holidays including the two guys in the university.

My kids requested for one of my native soup which is Afang and and I needed to grant their request as a loving mother.

I went to the market and I bought Afang leaves, when I returned home I had to wash it, I don't like buying slice Afang leaves in the market because alot of the market women slice it without washing.

So when I returned from the market, there was no sun but at the same time I had to wash the Afang leaves so that there will be no sand and no dirt, I make sure I wash it very well after plugging it from the stems, when washing the water was so dirty to the extent I had to wash it 3 times so as to make sure that the Afang leaves is clean.

After washing, I spread my big umbrella outside and I spread them so that the water can dry off and I will be able to slice them.

So when the leaves was properly dried, I sliced them very and believe me it was very much but I didn't have a choice, I had to do it. I wanted the soup to be much so that it can last us at least 2 days.

When I was done, I prepare all the food stuff and I cook a delicious Afang soup and keep for my kids..
I would have offload pictures of the soup but my phone battery was low and I had to charge it so as I will be able to take pictures in the event I will be attending in the evening time.

So by the time I finish with the cooking it was pass 1pm and I had arranged with my makeup artist to come around 2pm because the party was 4pm, so I quickly arranged the house so as every where will be neat, when I was done, I dish my food and eat but I couldn't eat much because already I was tired and I needed some rest but yet there was no rest for me . So I took my bathe and I waited for my makeup artist to come and I was not with phone to call him and let him know that I was done and I was waiting for her to come around.

So few minutes pass 2pm she came and makeup my face, the makeup section took a lot of time. A party that was planning to attend by 4pm but because of the delay in makeup, I couldn't meetup by 4pm but she finished making me up by 5pm and I dressed up with my red 2 piece dress and I put on a white canvas and my wig was gold color.

When I was done dressing up, I picked up my phone from where it was charging and I proceeded to the birthday event center.

This birthday invitation was sent since January and a dress code was made, so I chose red color so as to represent the day which was a Valentine day.

My dressing was top-notch and I was feeling myself, I didn't want any one to oppressed me, I was very comfortable with my outfit. So boarder a keke and the driver took me directly to the event center.

Reaching the venue, the hall was well decorated and every where was with beautiful settings, I was so overwhelmed to see such a beautiful decoration and I located a particular seat and seat, while searching for a place to seat, I sighted my church lady who is also a friend of mine so I sat down with her table, the settings was a round table settings.

The celebrant was not available as of the time I went, so few minutes later we had that she had arrived and we all went outside and take some photography with her., she was very beautiful with a very simple dress that makes her really stand out. When I talk of beauty, she nail it. So we took some pictures with her before we went inside.

After taking pictures with her, she was matched in and the party began, there was enough fun in the building, I really enjoyed myself.

Alot of activities took place, she gave her speech and we all dance with her and it was time for her to cut her cake and she did it with her family which was her husband and kids.

Her cake was very beautiful.

Variety of food and drinks that I didn't even know the one to eat, at first we were served with small chops and chicken

And when I thought that maybe that will be the only meal for the party then I saw a tray of cocktails going around sharing it to the visitors and my own was brought to me so I decided to go for youghut cocktail and it was very delicious and sweet.

While we thought that it was all for the day then another food came indifferent recipes and I option for white rice and chicken sauce and some people own was white rice with dry fish sauce.

At this point my stomach was full and there was no space for another food, so what I did was to eat a little white rice and I ate a lot of chicken and I was okay with that, I didn't have space to eat more rice.

I was there till 9pm at night and I needed to see my kids because their drivers had already called that he has drop my kids at home, so I couldn't wait for the party to be over, I had to leave so as to be with my kids at home.

Coming back home my kids had already gone to bed and I couldn't wake them up so I took my evening bathe and I went to bed immediately. At this point I was very tired and I needed to sleep so I just dropped my phone at one corner and I slept.
