My Neighborhood Watch #80 - Reporting Events Around us

The last Sunday of the year is finally here and am so happy about that, we are getting closer to 2025, a year I believe will give joy to everyone. This is the first time am participating in this incredible contest, I don't usually have news concerning my neighborhood to say here but I now think I have gotten one and is about the road construction in my neighborhood. @xkool24 sir, thanks for still hosting this contest.
In May 2023, a paper was given to different houses and shops close to the road because the government wants to demolish them and accomplish his mission of expanding our road, they also promised to compensate them which they have already done a long time ago. The road construction has started since and is really progressing, our road is getting more better and they have finished the places they started.
The Engineers are also doing a new flyover at our main junction and this is the main reason I got more interested and decided to take pictures and participate in this contest. I don't normally pass that main junction because of how busy it has been as a result of the road construction, so I got so surprised at the development when I passed there few weeks ago.
The flyover is growing very fast, I mean that the Engineers are very fast, they have really build alot and the flyover looks so amazing. The place id always busy till now, though I think the Engineers has gone for Christmas/New year break. Is not easy as they always work on the road everyday and closes by 5-6pm. They are doing a great job. The flower will be very beautiful once they are done building it and my area will now be a very standard place.
Am so happy that the government has finally remembered my area, the road used to be very small and most Fridays you will see Ikwerre people doing burial ceremony on one part of the road thereby causing traffic jams for drivers. I believe they will finish the construction next year because they have really gone far. They have also started putting coal on some parts of the road which has made the road very smooth. I pray we all see 2025 in Jesus name, Amen.
