The Dairy Game - Shopping For Electronic Materials At GBOTHOM VENTURES
Greetings everyone and welcome to my dairy, today I'll be discussing my activities for Monday 9th, October 2022, I'll emphasize on the main event of the day which is my shopping activities in a local electronics shops.
I woke up at 8:12 a.m. since it was a public holiday in Nigeria, and a free day for everyone. Since I didn't really have much to do. I started by saying my silent prayer, then I took my phone and logged into my Binance account to check the price and chart of the coin. I then opened my Chrome browser to see if I had any Steemit notifications, and when I saw that I had none, I put my phone down and went to wash my face and brush my teeth.
The moi-moi (beans bud) I had for dinner the night before was swiftly re-heated, then I served it and ate it for breakfast. I then walked outdoors to exercise before returning to my house to take a bath and get ready to go to the nearby electronics store.
I recently moved into a new apartment here at Ikorudu, and since the apartment had recently undergone renovations, most of the wiring work had not yet been fixed. Since I couldn't wait for the landlord to fix it, I chose to fix it myself. I bought a new set of wiring items so I could fix the sockets and other connections so I could use my household appliances.
I visited Ifo's biggest market. While I'm in the market, I stop by this GBOTHOM VENTURES store to buy what I need for the wiring in my house. This shop sells a variety of electronic appliances and wiring materials.
The following is a list of the goods I bought at His store, even though I've lately been told that things are rather pricey; yet, I hope to receive something of excellent caliber even if it isn't the best of the best.
Items | Price (Naira) | Price (STEEM) |
---|---|---|
1 Bulb (18W) | N1,800 | 18 STEEM |
4 wall sockets | N4,000 | 40 STEEM |
1 Lamp Holder | N300 | 3 STEEM |
1 Led Panel Bulb | N2,200 | 22 STEEM |
4 Pallets | N2,00 each (N8,00) | 8 STEEM |
2m Wire full roll | N12,000 | 120 STEEM |
Total | N20,700 | 207 STEEM |
It was a great time at the market, even though the majority of the items were quite pricey and the total calculated price was N20,700 that's around 207 STEEM (current price of STEEM to Naira) but I told the salesman that he should take something out and tell his boss that I bought a lot of goods because one of the advantages of buying in bulk is that you will receive a discount. He called his boss and spoke with him, then he gave me the phone to talk to the boss myself. The boss keeps complaining that things are getting more expensive, so I assured him that I'll keep on patronizing him if he can remove something for me, and after some haggling, he agreed to take N1,500 off the price, bringing it to N19,200 that's around 192 STEEM.
I made my payment by bank transfer, and I was given the invoice. Below is a photo of the materials packaged in a yellow poly bag, and next to it is a photo of the invoice with the entire price listed.
It's always a joy to share my diary and activities with you all.
Thank you for reading my blog post; have a great weekday and stay safe.
