Definition of Term:
Opportunity have so many definitions per person so that my definition might be different from the definition of another person. As for me ill not quote any search engines definition but ill say it from my own perspective.
Opportunity is when theres room for a person or something to do something or something to be done respectively. Take for instance a football match between two teams. Each team have opportunities to win that match but the team that makes good use of the opportunity wins the game.
What I think about the term:
In my own perspective, I think the term is very true and in most cases this term is used for probation. We see an instance where when a father is talking to his son that he or she should make good use the opportunities he or she sees.
Personally I think that when a person is not able to use his or her opportunity, theres bound to be problem. Wrong use of opportunity can lead to not being able to do what your supposed to do or inotherwords loose out on what he or she has to get in the future, who knows?.
Is the statement misleading?
The statement is not misleading and as a matter of fact it is very correct in what I call a civilized mind. Only people who are hardworking and vigilant see opportunities and make good use of them. It might interest you to know that many people see opportunities and do not make goid use of them. Also some may be able to make good use but end up not seeing the opportunity. The question here is are you ready to identify an opportunity when it comes and make good use of them?.
Personal Experience:
Experience they say us the best teacher. Without it most sensei's wouldnt have been where there are today. The basic thing is that experience helps us know more than we would have known. A simple example is when a student is to prepare for an exams lets say JAMB exams thats written to enter the higher institutions. Imagine a child fails to sacrifice just 1 month of reading to pass that exans and ends up failing. The shame goes to that child for not entering the university. He or she will see their felllow classmates getting admission and this will serve as a blow to them. Or a person whos to go for an interview and goes for an interview late.
Well if i were to rephrase this sentence, ill definitely say;
Make good use of every single time cause you dont know what time might be the right time.
