Preamble

Hi all, it's @luchyl again. It's been a while I shared my diary game so today I will let you know how I spent the day.
For the past seven months, mom has been visiting a cardiologist due to her health issues. For two months now, she has not been able to go due to some financial challenges so when I visited her yesterday and asked how her health was she made some complaints which wasn't really good so I told her that she will be going for check up today.

Morning

Waking up every morning has always been the greatest miracle in life. Today I woke up around 5am, due to the cold, I was feeling reluctant to get up. I had no choice but to force myself out of bed after I had said my prayers.
After that I went online, checked messages on WhatsApp and replied to some of them. I also checked my email for new mails, having received none I logged out and proceeded to prepare for the day's activities, which was mainly going to work and taking my mom to the hospital for her check up.
For breakfast, I had beans with pap, and it was really enjoyable. Finally around 7:45am, I set out to the office. Luckily there was no gridlock and I got to the office by 8:09am. I settled in for the day's work. Not long a client came and I attended to him, that done, I did some other works on my table.
After finishing up with the scheduled work for the morning, I headed to the hospital with mom, Fruitful Hill Heart Centre located at No 25 River Layout, Aba.
We got there around 9:20am and at the reception, we met some other patients who were waiting to see the doctor and we joined them too.

Afternoon

We were there till around 12:30pm when it got to our turn. The doctor asked mom series of questions pertaining to the medication that she was on, and if there were any complaints or improvements as at the last time she visited, to which she replied. After that he did some checks on her and noticed that her blood pressure was a bit high, due to that he made some adjustments to her former prescriptions, and gave her another appointment after a month. He equally advised that she writes down the figures gotten each time she checks her BP and to call him after a week with the result. After the check, he handed me the prescription and we went back to the reception so I can pay for the consultation fee of ₦5,000.
That done we left. Mom went home and I went back to the office to handle some jobs that came up while I was at the hospital.
I didn't forget to have lunch, boiled potatoes with spinach veggies sauce, after which I rested for a while and continued with work.

Evening

After close of work around 4:00pm, I headed to my usual pharmacy store, His Grace Pharmacy 56 Tenant Road, Aba to buy mom's medicines. The money I had wasn't enough to get the whole medication for a month so I bought that of two weeks first and the cost of ₦8,700.

The medicines I bought.

I also stopped by the shop of an agidi vendor along Azikiwe Road and bought some for mom.
Got to my parent’s house around 5:30pm, gave her the things I bought and she was happy. She also prayed for me. I stayed chatting with them for a while. Not long dinner was served, Oha soup with garri. It was delicious and I enjoyed it. Ah, I've really missed "Mama Thank you". 😃
It was getting so I had to leave. Got home, had my bath, and went online for my online class scheduled for 8pm to 9pm. That done, chatted on WhatsApp and engaged some posts on steemit too. After which I retired for the night.
