It's a new week and I'm happy to participate in the contest organized here by @steem4nigeria which talks about Life Lessons.
Can you share a situation where a mistake taught you an important lesson?
One of the mistakes I did that taught me a very important lesson in my life is the mistake of speaking at the wrong time. Let me explain how this affected me dearly.
On a very big occasion, I went with a few of my team members to represent my station. On getting there a question was asked and since everyone pretended as though they didn't hear the question I decided to answer and that is where the Genesis of my issues started.
I was then asked who told me to speak. That as a team when a question is asked provided it is not directed to a specific person, it is only the leader who is permitted to answer such question.
Based on that.mistake, I was asked never to speak in any gathering or meeting again. This mistake made me keep mute no matter the kind of the situation which is been discussed.
How do you handle setbacks or failures, and what have you learned from them?
If you fail as a person it is not good that you should remain as a failure because you only become a true failure when you give up. So when an incident as such happens, raise and push ahead don't allow what is said about you weigh you done.
I didn't feel too oppress when I had the issues I had but I was ready to learn and I see that as a correction center hence I was willing to learn and push ahead. So I don't feel bad when I fail at all. I only motivate myself to work better and harder.
Have you experienced a moment that made you appreciate the value of kindness or empathy?
Yes, I have experience a moment that made me appreciated kindness. I once helped a guy when he was in a dear need and some years after we came across each other again and he still remember that little thing I did and also appreciated me.
I have already forgotten the act but immediately he saw me he reminded me how I helped him and how that help went a long way in making him who he is today. It is indeed mind blowing how people appreciate things no matter how little and I'm happy that I was able to help.
What role does perseverance play in achieving your goals, and can you share an example?
Perseverance means you shouldn't give up on your goal because there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. It is true that this goes a long way to help people achieve their goal or desire on earth and I will explain how this affected my life as well.
While I was growing, I had friends who taught that I can't make it in life because of the way it takes me time to comprehend things. I was never discouraged because I knew one day my story will change and indeed at the end it ended in praise.
So giving up is not an option if you wish to achieve a particular goal in life. So always remain consistent and work harder and put in all the effort needed and see yourself excelling in life.
What lesson(s) have you gained in life that you would love to share with us.
In life what I have learnt most is that you should never give up on your dreams no matter what. If you have a dream, work towards achieving it at all cost because there are many who are always waiting to see that you fail but you can prove them wrong that no matter the time taken, you will definitely get there someday.
My advice to anyone reading through my post today is to remain focus and dedicated and ensure that no matter what you do you are always looking forward towards succeeding no matter the situation you find yourself.
