Sunday Breakfast // I couldn't believe I'm a good Chef [White Rice Recipe]

Today, I am here in this amazing community to share another glimpse into the steps I took to cook today's breakfast. I started by measuring 5 cups of rice into a bowl, and washed it with water before I turned it to a medium-sized pot. I poured water in it and placed the pot over high heat from the cooking gas and bring the water to a boil. Once boiling, I turned off the heat and rinsed the rice in a fine mesh strainer under cold water to remove excess starch and impurities, resulting in better-textured rice.
I used clean water to wash the ingredients and sprinkled salt before I rinsed it for the second time to disinfect the ingredients. The next step was cutting the Scumbia fish into smaller pieces and washed it, I also sliced the onions.
I put those pieces of fish into the pot, poured a little quantity of water, added small salt and seasoning cube and mixed it well before boiling it for 5 minutes and allowed the water to dry off the fish to quench the fresh scent of the Mackerel Fish.
The next thing I did was to add a little quantity of vegetable oil into the cooking pot, I added salt and the sliced onions and fried together for 5 minutes before I put the boiled fish, crayfish and other ingredients and mixed it well to marinated with the fish for a good taste.
After I allowed all the ingredients to fried for 3 minutes, I turned the boiled rice into the pot and stirred it very well to have a good mix with the ingredients before I added 2 cups of water and increased the heat from the cooking gas, I covered the pot and simmered for 15 minutes, until all the water was absorbed and the rice was cooked.
After the food was done, I turned off the heat and let the meal rested while I was cutting the cucumber into smaller pieces. I didn't want to eat the rice with soft drink (mineral), I preferred cucumber that's why I went for it.
My white rice was ready for consumption. I dedicate this delicious recipe to my role model, @chant who motivated and encourages me to try cooking recipes as a man. Distance would not permit if I invite her to come have a taste of my delicious meal, smiles. I've already fell in love with cooking and I'm thinking of taking this cooking skills to another level, like cooking to orphanage homes.
Truly, it tasted better and I ate and enjoyed it with my wife and kids.
