Stop comparison // Believe on yourself. And work hard.
Greetings friends......!
Today I appear among you with an article to motivate my dear steemit friends and also encourage them to stop comparing themselves to others. Please read till the end.
If we take off from Murtala Muhammed Airport at the same time to two different locations, we will not arrive at our destinations simultaneously. You travelling to Abuja will get there before me, who travels to London. That is why you must stop comparing yourself to others and fretting when they succeed before you.
A rabbit will be pregnant for one month. An elephant's gestation is two years. Even if an elephant and a rabbit get pregnant on the same second, hour, and day, they won't give birth at the same time. People don't die according to their age, and people don't succeed according to their seniority in years.
Remember that when next someone tells you, "See your mate". King Charles III became King at 73. His mother became Queen at 25. Follow your destiny, and do not destroy God's plan for your life because someone told you, "See your mate". That type of mentality has landed many people in a penitentiary.
In today's world, comparison has become a habitual vice. Social media platforms showcase the highlight reels of others' lives, making it easy to fall into the trap of measuring our successes and failures against those of others. However, this comparison game can lead to disappointment, dissatisfaction, and a distorted view of reality.
• Will you compare your behind-the-scene moment to others? That's what some people do.
• You will erode your self-confidence if you constantly make comparison, it will making you feel inadequate or inferior.
• Focus on others' paths might lead you to miss
your own unique opportunities and strengths.
• Concentrate on your growth, accomplishments, and setbacks. Celebrate your small wins.
• Establish objectives tailored to your values, interests, and strengths.
• Always encourage yourself by treating yourself with kindness, just as you would do to a close friend.
• Thank God for the blessings while appreciating and acknowledging the good in your life.
