Hello everyone hope you guy's are doing great, this week promise's to be exciting as we have lot's of thing's to learn from this wonderful course outline introduction to graphic design.

Our lives are greatly affected by design's starting from the clothes we wear, shoes, hand bag's, and some papers we use in our various offices, I'm so excited to participating in this wonderful topic, let's get down to business.

What is Graphic Design?.

Graphic design is basically when ideas and images are been communicated visually such as logos, colour's, image's etc. graphic design is aimed at creating ideas and representing it in a physical form to engage the audience.

Let's take for instance a picture of a lady printed in a cardboard paper, it is designed for the audience to view, this can be done through various means example is the use of software's and various tool's in order to craft visual composition's.

Application of Graphic Design's.

Since graphic designers is aimed at representing ideas in physical form, common application includes.

• Brochures.

• Posters.

• Wedding and birthday cards.

• Social Media, Emails etc.

This is a typical example of how graphics can be represented, looking at it you will see alignment, this signifies that you work must be very neat, crafted in order to satisfy the audience viewing pleasure.

Briefly Share with me your understanding about graphic design.

I understand that graphic design is creativity and thus business too as well, lot's of understanding has to be imputed while crafting out visual experience in order to move sale's looking at the targeted audience.

Graphic design involves the act of choosing topography, making sketch, choosing colour standard, photo editing, in general lot's of brain work is needed.

I understand that graphic designer's creates social media ads, Facebook ads and all the rest, when you are engaged in graphic design, lot's of audience is attracted to you, thereby lot's of followers will be within your possession.

Looking at the drawings above I quickly communicated through layout, the photos are galvanized in a roll, and column, viewer's can easily read and the content that I just put out.

Graphic design is practical pure creativity, with creative design you must really think outside the box, as it so much consistent of drawing's, pure work of art (artwork).

Pick any three of the principles of Graphic design and talk about them based on your level of understanding.

The three basic principles of graphic design are as follows.

1. Balance= This is a process of creating a sense of stability while making your design there balancing your work and making them equal thereby applying colour's, image's text's, check out some examples below for proper understanding.

Looking at the two designs you will see clearly how it was represented, the both images was represented A was balanced while B wasn't, executing a proper design you need stability and balance.

1. Contrast= This is a process whereby design element are been made to stand tall from each other is more like differentiating then with various colour's of your choice it can be black or white, red or blue, blue or green, as the case may be.

One of the major aim of contrast is to enable the viewer to pinpoint the design and get a clearer view looking at the design is divided in colour's, various color's and the size of the images are all the same.

1. Alignment= During creation everything has to be placed in order, the organization will enable the viewer to get a clearer view, check this below for proper understanding.

The above image clearly explains everything, at point A, the design is in order both in rolls and in columns, then looking at point B, the reverse is the case, all the principles listed above will help accelerate, and create a viewing and appealing please, as we design further.

In this section I will show images on how to make graphical image's, trust me is a very simple task, let's get the ball 🏀🏀 rolling.

• First you need download and install the Canva App on your mobile device, after that scroll Down click on the + icon, another page will pop up.

• At this point search for Instagram post square 1080X1080, after that click on create Page.

• This is where how to make graphic image officially start's, next click on element, in order to choose your preference element to take into use.

• All the elements pop's up, and I selected my preferred one, I selected a block looking like a rectangle.

• At this point you can resize the shape been selected, looking at the arrow down it means you can also change colour too as well.

• Any colour of your choice can be selected, is all your choice, after this we keep up with making the graphic image.

• Looking at image ABC, you will understand that I selected various colour's, and it all reflected on the selected block's.

• Look at the image very well you will understand that you can actually resize it, all you need to do is to drag it at the tips.

• When you drag then you will be able to get any size you prefer, after that you click on the + icon to duplicate the item selected then place it in another direction.

• Final outcome came when I imputed a block and changed the colour in order to give a good fitting to the eye view,

• Note you can always choose another different image and represent it, the way you prefer, this is called graphic design, you deal with everything graphics.

In graphic design, you the designer has one aim which is, make a good design that will be good for the viewing please.

Conclusion.

• From my write up you should understand that graphic design is the process whereby communication are been laid down through messages and content, you can create all kinds of elements like logos, image's, colour etc.

• I also showed how to make graphical image's where I used to canva App and showed, Step by step means, on how images/logo's are represented.
