In the spirit of Easter

Happy day Steemians and welcome to my blog @kigbubenedict!
Its been while I participated on Steemit due to some personal challenges that waved my attention away and I am highly delighted to reunite with my Steemit family and I am also delighted to come across this spiritual contest which draws our attention towards Easter celebration.

What does Easter mean to you personally? Share your thoughts and feelings about this special holiday.

Easter is a special day that is unique to all Christians who are true followers of Jesus Christ and who acknowledge and have the full conviction and believe in the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ,who died and resurrected on the third day, conquering the power of Satan over man and by giving grace to mankind.
Easter is a time for deep reflection which draws our attention to the passion and cruxifiction of Jesus Christ who died to set us free from sin and condemnation.

The word of God says whosoever liveth and
believeth in me shall never die. (John 11:26)

How does your community celebrate Easter? Are there any unique traditions or events that you look forward to?

I live in a Christian community where about 99% of people living in my Community are Christians and amongst the people many are Catholics.
Therefore,Easter activities is highly observe to a greater height among the people of my locality,and many people do carry out the culture of sharing food and extending gifts to their love ones, and also people do commemorate the day by organising different tribal dances and to shock you those that practice traditionalist dances more than the Christians.
It's fun to celebrate Easter in my community.

Easter is often associated with new beginnings. What new goals or aspirations do you have for yourself or your family this Easter season?

This very Easter is a unique one because I see the hand of God upon my life and that of my family. I would love to abstain from sin so as to stay faithful in God presence. I would love to deem it fit by praying to God regularly because God does not need anything from us except our prayer and worship.

What are some fun activities or games that you think would bring your family closer during Easter?

There's a proverbs that says,"United we stand,and divided we fall".The only activity that can unite us in our family is prayer and encouraging peace and love with one another,and I don't think if there's any fun activity to as when you are at peace with your love ones in your family. Therefore,we should promote love and encourage communalism in our family and this is my new project for this Easter in my family.
