The Diary Game || 13- 11- 2024 || Keeping Fit With Steemians, Wednesday Football And Implemention Of A New Program In Stay-fit

My Lifestyle.

Dear diary.

It was a wonderful morning to begin the day initially, the night was on it fading point and the morning was gradually coming to existence when i woke up to prepared ahead of my daily exercise routine.

It was actually a Wednesday and as known, we'd engage on both various exercise and football; guess what!! A new program was earlier announced on the stay-fit WhatsApp group but not yet implemented, it was on this Wednesday that the team planned to implement it, together it sum up three different programs in a day. I understand you're wondering which program that was, don't panic; i gat you covered as you're reading.

MORNING AND AFTERNOON SESSION

After educating my mental rehabilitation, improving life through benefiting from my daily scripture, I lay my focus on preparing for my workout daily routine. Brushing, bathing and keeping the environment clean was part of the deal, before it could clocked 7 o'clock PM i was already on my track to the exercise camp where I boarded a bus.

I took some pictures while inside the bus before arriving the junction that lead to the camp. Half the team were already on action so I joined them, coach ngoenyi focus was on building strength on the upper and lower body abdomen, the following ate the programs we executed in a variants of repetitions and set following the tabata song rhythm.

Upper body.

Our arms is part of the upper body that needs to be exercise always in other to keep them stronger enough in such a way that it helps us to to handle our daily activities easily and in a flexible manner. We focus on side swing and front swing, arms stretch, rowing the arms up and down and stopped when the tabata song stops, began when it began.

Lower body.

Here comes our lower body that carried our upper body in every situation, our lower body needs more daily exercise to keep them active and strong. We do this by raising our legs up, squatting, running and etc.

Our legs, muscles, gluteus and etc are the important organs in the lower body that carried a great responsibilities, we walk everyday, we run and jumped when necessary, we sit in our gluteus, we engage our muscles together with our legs to kick the ball aggressively; these organs can only be build stronger by exercising and we did so.

Football.

We later proceeded to playing football, it's a mandatory program that we engage on every Wednesday and because of it, we always have a full hour because we all loves football. Before this period, we first focused on pairing in two two and divided into two team.

As usual, we divided into team yellow and team blue, we had steemians in team blue; the likes of @alli001 @ngoenyi @emishael60 while I and @udyliciouz were in the same team, probably the winning team; we kicked off with immediate effect.

Team blue were the better team in the first half, playing some tactical football and distributing pace in wonderful way, the were more than us in number and they took the advantage to net two goals, i tried my best to scored a single goal and level the scoreline in 2:1 with team blue leading in the first half. Some scenes were noticed and captured by the camera man as we took to rest a bit before resuming the second half.

The second half resume after a minute of refreshment, boosting our energy through some cool sachet of water and calming our nerves with the musical box which is always available. Team yellow became the better team and mounting an Intense pressure on team blue, i raised to help my team secure the winning by scoring three goals, exceeding team blue goal scored in the first half.

Eat your way to fitness.

Remember when I said, a new program was earlierly announced in the stay-fit WhatsApp group but not yet implemented, it was then time to implement this program, my coach call it eat your way to fitness. Before we even resume the second half of the football, we ate a delicious soup tho not everyone ate it because it wasn't enough.

Everyone was asked to donate whatever they can, both money or anything ingredients and we all did it, i donated a packed of Maggi and others did theirs, so the cooking began.

While the females were preparing the food, i and alli001 tried to entertain everyone by preparing A seems forgotten African dish, a delicious half done soup is made through mortal and pestle. The ingredients include:

  • Crayfish.
  • Groundnut.
  • Fresh pepper.
  • Maggi.
  • Onions.
  • Salt.
  • Water.

I unpack the crayfish and groundnut inside the mortar, then pound them into no particle, i then mix the other ingredients and continue pounding until they all mixed together; i mixed a quantity of water and turned it until the uncooked soup became ready and eatable, we ate with swallow.

The food was really delicious than expected, @alli001 can attest to that. Soon the main awaited food was finally ready, jellof rice for carbohydrates and egg for protein. The chef served the food

The new program was finally implemented as the food was cooked and served, we are and got satisfied as the food was really delicious. Don't mind the last picture, that's how we entertain the team, it's just for entertaining purposes, a member in the stay-fit WhatsApp group called us bird from the same mother 😹 after seeing the picture.

The food was enough on us, to the extent that we looked for anything that would digest some of it, at that moment, dance was the best solution. You just have the see some of the dance steps, it's all about having fun and having a good day, laugh and feel good, that's what we do; don't worry I'll dance next week.

EVENING SESSION

After everything, we all departed home; I and alli001 and a friend of us took the same track. I bath and waited for alli001 to comes out as we planned to cut our hair. He was a bit longer than expected so I used the opportunity to slept, he was the one that wakes me up when he finally arrived.

We took our way to the barbing salon but unfortunately the barber wasn't around and we got disappointed as he was the only choice. There we went to our friends house which is just a steps away from the barbing salon.

He and his parents were around and they were preparing Ekpang nkukwo food. We greeted and got welcome with a hot drink, probably black star which contains 40 percent of alcoholic.

We gisted about our convention and others related stuff that matters, i must say we really had a good evening. While vibing, the sister to our friend brought the Ekpang nkukwo foodto us and few of us ate it, @alli001 and our friend doesn't like eating it.

The food was really delicious, who missed it wouldn't know what he missed, i pitied @alli001 for not considering Ekpang nkukwo a nice delicacy. Meanwhile I made myself relaxed and comfortable while consuming the whole tray of food.

After the sweet delicacy, alli001 and a friend of us went out to eat outside while i and others continue vibing our way around. It was actually a memorable day to us all right from the first activity of the day, the work-out session, football, implementation of a new program and the moment in our friend house. It was a day worth anticipating.
