Steem4Nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 64: The Steemian[s] I meet almost on a Daily Basis.
Design by me, edited on canva.
I got marvel the moment I first encountered with this week's contest title. Of course, the Steemit platform is a global ecosystem that brings people together from different tribes, regions, countries, and states. Steemit has made it possible to meet with people. I believe it couldn't be possible to meet or even have a conversation with them. We've and I've associated with people of my age and beyond my age, regardless of the gender.
Steemit, in other words, is a page dedicated for individuals from different geographical areas to associate friendly and become worldwide family. This is a privilege to recall my relationship with Steemians; let's dive into this wonderful story of mine.
How many people have you made connection with because of Steemit? Any special relationship? |
---|
The range of people I made connections with because of the Steemit ecosystem is really numerous; before, it used to be just a few people, which I already knew even before joining the ecosystem. After my present at the Goodybest 6× Dolphin Celebration Meetup, my connections with Steemians became geographical. Below are just a few of them.
My very first connection with @goodybest started at her six-time dolphin achievement on the ecosystem, to which I was opportune to be invited by a close steemian. Since then my relationship has been extremely friendly, though we rarely meet. Of course she's a family person and a baby mother, and she has a wide responsibilities to attend to both offline and online, but despite this, she's a friend, a Christian sister who I've met on different occasions, both physical and virtual.
My first legendary conversation with @Ngoenyi was at the Goodybest Celebration. Before, she was just a user I believed existed on the Steemit, but after the befitting party, she has become a mother, a fitness instructor, an adviser, and more. If there's one thing I like about her, it's her sense of generality; she's fun to stay with; she's friendly and interactive; she upholds family responsibilities, but yet she's available anytime anyway; she's strong and open-arms supportive; she is characterized by her sense of belonging. This page cannot contain all her positive qualities.
I know about a young determined man who's named Jephthah, officially known as @bossj23. He's a mentor of hundreds but yet never misses any of his ship. He's enthusiast is top-notch; he's calm, friendly, diligent on core things, fun, and he's inspired with a variant of positivity. You can't just hate him; you only like him. Other amiable strangers I've made connections with are....
@Alli001. | @Bessie2023. |
@Fortwis09. | @Benton3 |
@Jewel005. | @Wizzyboy3. |
These steemians are all friends from different families backgrounds, we're relatively bond as if we were all born from the same womb. I acknowledge their sense of belonging, their mutual understanding, their friendly co-existence, their brilliant sense of humor and etc.
Tell us where you usually meet or see each other. |
---|
we meet from different angles in the world, let me classified the group into three.
ngoenyi. | goodybest. | benton3. |
Chichigirl. | fortwis09. | bossj23. |
Ngoenyi, benton3, fortwis09, whizzyboy3, chichigirl, goodybest, bossj23, these particular set of steemians are once I meet at the stay-fit team camp; it's always a fun moment whenever I engage in a particular activity. Whenever we meet up too, like the upcoming national meetup, these steemians will also be present; it's going to be a shutdown.
Alli001. | jewel005. | ubikool. |
Alli001, jewel005, @ubikool, these particular steemians are my Christian brothers; we attend our midweek meeting and Sunday meeting together, and most of the time we walk together at the ministry. Apart from Christian meetings, Alli001 is part stay-fit, and we always associate together, walk together to the camp, and do other necessary activities.
@Okere-blessing | @Jasga and @Bessie2023. |
Okere-blessing, Bessie2023, Jasga, these set of steemians are like sisters to me; Bessie and Jasga would always call me senior, and I call them sis. I always meet them in the comfort of their home whenever I have a chance; I'm a bit closer to their mom than dad. I always meet okere-blessing whenever I visit Bessie and Jasga.
Do you believe Steemit is a global family? Explain to us. |
---|
Yeah, I so much believe in this. The Steemit ecosystem is a global family; we all came from a different tribe, nation, state, and country; we speak different dialects; we eat different styles of food depending on our location; our cultures are totally different, but yet our level of communication and socialization is top-notch; there's no extra room for racism; irrespective of gender is prohibited. What limits or criteria does a platform need to meet before becoming a global family? The Steemit platform has climbed above the criteria; we're friendly and fun to be with; we recognize the seniors and juniors, as well as the upcoming; the Steemit platform is sincerely a global family.
Tell us about the steemian friend you've not met but wish to meet him/her physically someday |
---|
I know about some exclusively determined steemians who keep down sentiment but prioritize their steemit activities. I know about some mothers who, despite their homie, online and offline responsibilities, scale their responsibilities in such a way that enable them to effectively handle duties here in steemit. Let me just highlight two among the steemians. I desperately wish to meet them in person someday.

@eliany. Eliany, as officially known, is our Nigeria representative, excluding the Steemit platform; she's a mother, and she's a health person. What marvels and, at the same time, surprises me is her ability to compromise time just to catch up with her responsibilities. Time is priceless, but yet it's the most complicated commodity to manage. In her situation, she dealt with time as if it's just a common thing.
Looking at her blog, you'll be surprised where she got all the time to cook the delicious meal in her content. These meals aren't the kind of meals that are cooked in a hurry; she donates her time to handle these things, but yet she creates at least 6 or 7 blogs in a week. I just wish I could meet her, and I hope to meet her at the upcoming meetup.

@Saintkelvin17. This is a young but promising, determined, focused, and hardworking young guy I've met on this Steemit platform. This guy, despite his busy schedule,'s been able to moderate in different communities, create at least 10 to 11 posts, and even more in a week.
Currently he's a student, but he doesn't stop to encourage others; he noticed every little he's just a kind of detective; you won't know until he gets to you. He tried so hard to be humble and apologize when needed. I just acknowledged him, and I hope to meet him in person someday.
Others are @ruthjoe, @Bonaventure, @josepha, etc. Others from different countries aren't exception. I know about steemians like @patjewell, @wilmer1988, etc.; these people will just make your day with their comments. I know it's complicated to meet them, but with the help of technology, I'll meet them virtually someday.
In conclusion, the Steemit is undoubtedly a global family that coins people from different destinations together; we're made friends, a great relationship. These spaces have shape and intensely higher our potential. I'm happy and opportune to be called a steemian.
I'm inviting @nsijoro @onomzy001 and @eliany to join me in this contest. |
