Hello beautiful Steemians! I bumped into an interesting contest, and of course, I would be participating as it’s an interesting topic.

Life Reflections… That's a really big and important topic! To reflect on life can mean many things to different individuals. It could mean looking back on your past experiences and learning from them. It could mean setting short and long term goals and figuring out the best ways to achieve them. It could mean understanding your purpose and what makes you feel fulfilled. So what is it to you?

Have you ever felt someone is better than you are? If yes, in what aspect?

In life, they will always be someone better out there. Having said that, YES, I’ve felt people are better than me. I love cooking, and I don’t hesitate to follow up people I see that are better so I can learn a thing or two from them.
Academically too, I’ve met more knowledgeable people, instead of sulking about it, I tried studying them and understanding how their reading patterns helped them improve.

In all aspects of life, you’ll find someone smarter, more beautiful, more talented, happier, more intelligent, more successful, more skillful and many more. What matters is how you react in such situations. It’s best to know it’s a fact and be happy with your capabilities, than being unhappy over things that cannot be controlled.

Mention 3 personalities or features of your life you don't like and would love to change

I won’t really say “I don’t like them”, because I’ve learnt to accept my flaws(I’m still improving though).
Firstly, I have stage fright. I tend to overthink the whole thing and my brain keep processing so many negative scenarios that could occur. It’s not so bad, as I still manage to get on stage after giving myself a pep talk.

I would also love to be more social. I tend to be on my own, or have one or two friends at maximum. Trusting people doesn’t come easy for me, and most people are usually interested in what they can gain.

Lastly, opening up is usually hard for me. Especially when someone wrongs me or hurts my feelings. It’s always like my head is in a turmoil. It eats me up inside so much and I wouldn’t even be able to say anything no matter how much I try.
It would be really nice to finally improve on these aspects of my life.

Do you think it's healthy thinking or reflecting on your Imperfections and mistakes?

Honestly, it is dependent on how often one reflects on their imperfections. Proper reflection leads to self improvement. We learn from our mistakes and work on avoiding them.

Some people tend to over reflect and over analyze their imperfections. “I wish I were her”, “My life would have been better if I were smarter, or more beautiful”, etc. This just makes us lose sight of what we have. She might be smarter, but you’re more creative. He might be more beautiful, but you’re more eloquent, the list goes on.

My advice would be, instead of dwelling on your imperfections, focus on your “perfections” and keep improving.

If you were given an opportunity by God to change your looks, would you or you'll maintain?

We were all made in His image and likeness. And He made us all unique and special. There really isn’t any need to change the looks. No one is perfect anyway. I wouldn’t want to change anything
(Maybe “perfect” dentition, so I get to skip all my dental appointments)

I would like to invite @imohmitch @basil20 and @whizzbro4eva to join this contest
