In the Spirit of Easter

How was your Easter holiday? Mine was so nice I can't still forget the experience. I spent my Easter holiday this year at Owerri as usual, I went to our annual Easter conference called OVC (Overcomers Conference). It was a life-changing experience my mindset about Christianity shifted.

Let's go into what we have for today, today's contest is titled "In the Spirit of Easter". And we're to share our thoughts on it.

*What does Easter mean to you personally? Share your thoughts and feelings about this special holiday.*

Easter means a lot to me as a Christian because it defines my beliefs. Easter season is the time in the year we Christians celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
And to me, it's a season of resetting my Christian life preparing myself to be an overcomer.

Talking about my feelings about the Easter holiday. Easter holiday is an important time in the year when all schools are on holiday and I get to see my loved ones come together in the house, we eat together as a family and on Easter Sunday when we go to church listen to sermons and dance during the praise section. This event makes me feel excited.

*How does your community celebrate Easter? Are there any unique traditions or events that you look forward to?*

During the Easter season in my community some unique events take place starting from Thursday of the Easter week you see people from different communities coming to our community for their church Easter convention because our community is the local government headquarters. They do rally and sometimes act dramas of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his resurrection, they do that at the community town square.

*Easter is often associated with new beginnings. What new goals or aspirations do you have for yourself or your family this Easter season?*

Before the Easter holiday, I was already doing self-check, and this self-check has helped me to come up with some bad habits I need to deal with in my life. So my goal is to do away with these bad habits.
And here are the habits I want to do away with in my life:

• The first one is indiscipline. I need to discipline myself.

• Excuses. Excuses have been one of the reasons why I have not been able to accomplish much, even on steemit.

*What are some fun activities or games that you think would bring your family closer during Easter?*

Some of the fun activities or games I think would bring my family closer during Easter are:

• Going on a picnic together.

• Watching movies together.

Me on Easter Sunday

My favorite Easter memory from my community was on an Easter Sunday when we went to church, and I was moved to the children's department because then I was still a kid. That day we spent time dancing and praising God then at the end of the service food was given to everyone as a child I ran around with other kids in church and one thing I will never forget is the kid Bible storybook that is only full of images they gave us read and the child department drama.
