SHORT STORY:My first Hug.2023
Rumbles of fireworks in the air at the dawn of a new Year. Joy sprung within hearts, as surprises and cheers filled the air. A Memory way back from a glance, sponged surprises on me, and then finally she halt.
"hey! it's been a while...''
'you look familiar...'
" I'm Jochris an online friend of yours..."
Scene flooded with commentaries
" oh! I see... you stay around? ..."
I settled my gaze, really awkward, to get a firm composure of her smile and the beauty she possess.
" how come we've not met? "
'Ah! I've not been around lately'
"Ooh I see"
hands on her armless spotty ash cotton gown worn on her dark brown skin as her brows glow with her dark hair pulled behind in a ponytail. she held a stare with a surprise smile and said "can I hug you?"
I guessed she has recalled it all
' yeeaah sure!'
" that's if you don't mind"
with a lovely smile I fell deep into her arms with my head above hers. She shivered in my arms at the blast of fireworks...
