Do you think Age Gap is a Problem in a relationship
Edited using text on photo
I consider the age gap as the age difference that exists between two people. For instance, if someone is 20 years old and another is 21 years old, we can consider 1 year to be their age difference (age gap). Provided you are not born at the same time as a person, then an age gap must exist between you and the person.
I have never seen the age gap as a problem in a relationship. If you ask me, I will tell you that relationship is all about love, understanding, and respect. Talking about the age gap that exists in the relationship, I don't see it as a problem.
You will believe me that 90 to 95 percent of couples today are not of the same age. It is either the man is older than the wife, or the wife is older than the man. Hardly will you see age-mates getting married. Yet they're life in harmony. Although problems arise in relationships, age can not be the source. In conclusion, the age gap is not a problem in relationships.
As mentioned earlier, the age gap is not a problem in relationships. Nevertheless, if the gap is much, it might lead to a problem. I said this because in most cases, some age comes with certain behaviors. For instance, a child is made to behave like a child, while an adult is expected to behave like an adult.
In a case where an adult gets married to a teenager, they definitely will find it difficult to understand each other. How a teenager will perceive things can never correspond with that of an adult. As such, their perspective can't be the same. And when their perspectives differ, they will be a problem of understanding each other. When there is no understanding, they can't be peaceful. Nevertheless, even if an age difference exists, provided they are both physically and emotionally mature, they won't have issues.
I can say YES to this question. As a man, I'm not and never willing to even marry my age mate, talk more of someone older than me. The reason is that, in most cases, women get older than men. That is the more reason why a lady of your age will always look like your elder sister. And as for me, I will love to get old at the same time as my wife. To be able to achieve that, I have to marry someone younger.
I can't particularly mention the ideal age gap. But the most important thing is they should both be mature enough to tolerate each other. Nevertheless, I do prefer the age gap not to exceed 10 years. Personally, I have made up my mind to marry a lady who is at least 5 years younger than me.
Relationships are built on trust, respect, and love. I have never heard where it is built on age gaps or differences. Nevertheless, it is good for both parties to be mature before going into a relationship.
