Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 67: My Views About The Upcoming Nigerian National Meetup
Greetings friends of Steemit and Steem4Nigeria
I'm inspired to participate by the invitation from @ngoenyi ma'am today. So I don't delay in writing my post as the countdown has already started. I couldn't abstain myself from the contest since I belong to the community virtually on a daily basis. Though we are a thousand miles away we feel so happy to see the user name from any country in the notification. Still now I remember how the team of Nigerian users supported me on the engagement challenge of a different community. It may seem very common but I felt deep togetherness which is only possible on social media platforms like Steemit where strongest bonding is possible among community members.
It is absolutely obvious that we need to meet physically. We need to see each other to justify our real being whenever it is possible.
Meet up where it's a great way to get out, connect with people while building your network and if you're an extrovert, you like to be with people. It's definitely a great strategy to actually spend time with other people rather than always working from home or that sort of thing.
This is great we should have more of this meet-ups. It's not just socializing, it's not work, it's something different and it's optimistic, it's inspiring and ultimately it's empowering.
Joining Steemit is easy. Subscribing to a community is also easy. But making good friends in a new community is not so easy... and doing so as an introvert is like pulling a Buick ( a 'Keyless Open and Keyless Start' car) through a keyhole. But, it can be done... you just have to be open to it, and not put so much pressure on yourself about it.
I would like to meet three (actually many) of my favourite authors as they are versatile and authentic.
steemcurator01 is next to almighty to me. I'll ask for three boons if at all he or she appears in the meet-up
- Commitment
- Patience
- Endurance
I think there are very few Indians on the Steemit and also they are scattered. There are also very few users from my city. I have not heard of any meet-up in India in last one and half years. However some annual celebrations takes place online by a community and they conduct tutorial classes and hangout weekly.
Thank you for reading my post. Regards

Thank you for assessing my post and feedback.
Honestly, if it were possible for us to meet, I believe it would've been a great time. I would only asked you of the many menus and fruits you usually post in your Diary Games. 😄
Thank you for the authentication.
