At the beginning of October, the rainy season has also started in our residential area, this week alone heavy rain has fallen almost every day which has stopped many activities. However, I remain enthusiastic as usual in carrying out various activities in between the current rainy season.

However, as the heavy rain has fallen lately, I received news that several areas around my residence have started to flood due to overflowing rivers.

There was even one river whose embankment was destroyed, causing hundreds of residents' houses to be submerged in floodwaters, during the rainy season like this, there are indeed many areas affected by flooding in the province where we live.

Even near my residence, flooding often occurs, fortunately the area where we live has a high area so that the overflowing river water does not inundate our house.

In my personal opinion, flooding itself is not only caused by nature, but flooding also occurs due to human intervention, because one of the causes of flooding is because of the many illegal loggers who cut down large trees in the forest without replanting new trees.

So with this illegal logging, rainwater is no longer absorbed and flows directly into the river, when the river overflows, flooding occurs like what is happening now so that humans themselves are the ones who feel the loss.

Hopefully with the severe flooding that is happening now, people can be more aware not to cut down trees carelessly, if they want to cut down trees in the forest, then the loggers should plant new tree seedlings so that the natural ecosystem is better maintained.

When I saw the flood that happened this time, the houses that were submerged in the flood were like being in the middle of the sea because the flood level was quite high.

Hopefully in the future there will be no more flooding in the area where we live so that people can continue their activities as usual.
