Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 36 || Away From Home
Hello my comrades of Steem4nigeria, it is a warm welcome to you all to this blog. This is the fourth month of the year and the last month of the first quarter and we just got out from the easter celebration and approaching the Muslim Ramadan. The theme for this week's discussion is centered on home and I will be presenting my entry as required.

What is your definition of "Home" |

The foremost definition of home is a structural representation of an area that provided us with shelter. A quarter that provides us with a degree of comfort any time we retire to it. An average man would say that a home is our place of abode. This is correct due to wherever we derive comfort from at the end of the day work is equally a home.
A home is accompanied by various things that offer us comfort when we inhabit them. The primary items and utilities that augment our dasein in a particular place constitute what I can describe as a home.
Little wonder that the apartment of old people where people are found or where caregiving is rendered is equally equated to a home reason being that every requisite necessary for taking care of these sets of people has been provided.
A place where we find comfort, love, peace, and harmony while living together is a home that may include most of our continual residential apartments. Besides being a place of living, it can also be a place of operations or activities.
Different situations have taken place that made me stay away from home. The first was a three-week convention of our denomination that took place in Enugu State of Nigeria. The convention resulted in a mix of people and fostered unity. A temporal place was provided for the duration we stayed though it wasn't comfortable but the discomfort was accepted as good fate.
Another scenario is a 3-day event that took place in PH City. This is one event that I went to with my family as an annual event and this time hosted close to our location. It was a nice experience as we were well accommodated. The accommodation was nice and suitable and the foods served were fine-tuned.

The first experience was very awesome as we had different speakers that spoke on different themes. We also had different music ministers that took us through music sessions. It was inspiring, spirit-reviving, and heart-warming.
Several activities took place in the course of the convention. There were lots of quizzes and special presentations by individuals and groups. A short football competition was also held between the various departments of the church. Prizes were also given to winners of the competitions.
For the second scenario, it was actually more of entertainment and pleasure. I would say there was an adequate and ethical arrangement to keep everyone safe and relatively comfortable and could describe it as exceptional.
We were exposed to fun and met and dined with friends and colleagues. It was fun-filled and exciting, it was an opportunity to give our wives some treats, and the event was colorful and worth it.

Of course, I would still want to revisit the scenarios explained earlier though no one turns back the hands of time. The church convention was superb and amazing as well as full of fun. The good thing is that it is an annual program hence we anticipating another for the coming year.
It was an event for divine encounter although garnished with some fun activities that were also impactful. Every person in attendance had the opportunity to benefit both spiritually and physically. Everything was just awesome and nobody had any reason to complain.
The second scene, is supposed to be an annual business retreat where different people working under the same umbrella come together to get familiarized, dine together, get introduced to new employees, and be merry.
