INTRODUCTION

Greetings to all my fellow steemians across the globe, it another beautiful day in our life to see a new day with a new beginning , but before I proceed I want thank mama for the show of this contest for me to also be a partaker with the title: a day like a thousand years.

A -DAY LIKE A THOUSAND YEARS

In every situation there must be a remedy perhaps every thing walked together for those who trust in him because Paul apostle said that he that walked in the secret place of the lord shall abide under the shadow of the almighty.

It all begin this way when I was at the age of twenty nine years getting to thirty I have this feeling in my mine that one day that some one will ask my hand in marriage since I could not join the congregation of the Reverend sisters in our church so little did I know that my father is also praying for me to get married to the right person at the right time so that faithful day I receive a call from my father and he said to me(masifon) my daughter that is my native name meaning (love what is good )you know that your elder sister have passed on for like ten years now. And now my only hope is in you mean while before this time he was in a very serious sickness which we took him to different hospital for his recovery and God stood by us and heals him after some one months what I was praying come to reality, so we decided to travel to the village to see my parent for the consultation and the family for the marriage rite.

So while we were preparing for our traditional marriage rite, my father Inlaw fall sick with partial stroke and within two days he gave up without delay while we were trying to calm the situation, hmm I was like God what is going on I have no option than to kneel down and ask God to do his will,so in the process of rushing taking the corps to the morgue my fiance had an accident on his way back home so we suspended every thing for like three months so while he was receiving treatment in the hospital I had a call that my Father is sick again so my was fiance was like giving up on me and call it a day but upon all the battles I didn't give till the point that I declare fasting within my until God intervene so my fiance has to meet my family and give all the necessary things that they required from him less he squander the money .

after every thing we decided to walk down to the alter for the white wedding and every thing went smoothly under the coverage of God almighty while we were still battling for my father health challenge so he called us to bring him wine and food in the hospital which we did and he eat food and drink the wine he ask kneel down and he prayed for us and bless us, so on returning to the hospital after two days at about five am in the morning we receive a call that my father is no more I was screaming and shouting and I could not hold my tears which means two corpse in the mortuary at the same time same year which means time may change but season may not change indeed 2015 was the year of agony in our family which means in this life you come with nothing, and with nothing shall you return

CONCLUSION
