My Atama Soup with swallow

Atama leaf is indigenous to West Africa but especially the southern part of Nigeria. Atama Soup is a delicious palm nut soup, native to Ibibio/Efik people of Akwa Ibom/Cross River State. Atama Soup is not just sumptuous but it's nutritious and healthful! Flavourful, and unusual, you may cook this soup with variety of ingredients, (orishirishi) assorteds including egusi ~ melon to make it taste different.

The soup is similar to one of our famous traditional soup ~ Banga Soup, the only difference is the Atama leaves which gives the soup a distinctive taste and aroma. Yeah the leaf is an aromatic veggie, wildly grown in our locality. Let me hint you a bit about the health benefits of Atama leaf.

Friends this soup is spectacular, I don't know if there's another word to describe it than simply delicious! I devoured the soup with Swallow (eba) and downloaded it with fruit juice, then I slept off immediately, Haha 😂 you really need to have a taste of it. You know where there's absence of the leaf, Nigerians in diapora Remix the taste of Bush apples (Atama leaf) with the combination of bitter leaf and tarragon.

Dear @goodybest, the soup you made looks very nutritious. Unfortunately, we don't have Atama Leaf here. In Sri Lanka, we also use leaves like that to make a dish called Herb porridge, but it's interesting to see a similar concept used in a soup with meat.
