It is however,obvious,that parents owe their children love,care interms of needs,comfort and education. Parental aspiration for children is very important.Parents who know the value of education,motivate their children to learn and also provide some incentives to reinforce the desire to learn.
Researches have proved that motivation and encouragement help children to excel in their school work.Parents,your obligations are not completely fulfilled if you do not provide your children with books,writing materials,pay school fees etc.Absence of this things militate against effective learning.
Adam Smith at his book titled "An inquiry into the wealth of nation" put it clearly that the money spent on educating a child is money well spent.Yes,he is correct because,educating a child is an investment that must yield a dividend at the end.

A child who is not educated is socially maladjusted.He feels inferior among hist or her mates.The child lacks communication abilities especially in general language(English language).The child always shy and has no sense of belonging in a competitive society.Such child is deprived of many right.
Children whose parents deprived them of the right to Education takes stealing and looting of people's properties at a means of survival since they are jobless.
These children cultivate in them the act of indiscipline such as lack of self control,unruly behaviour,disobedience and disorderliness.These children beat up their parents at the slighted provocation,they stick to smoking of indian hemp and excessive drinking.
The female children rush for fantastic and expensive dresses.They also bent materialistic exigencies,thereby subjecting themselves to immoral act.They felt that is the only way to survive.The result are always unwanted pregnancies,premature parent,giving birth to bastard children,abortion and they contact veneral diseases.
The consequences of these social vices are stigmatising to the families of these children in particular and the society in general.
CONCLUSION.
Young parents,you are the sole determinant of the way your children should grow.If your children grow to become a social menace,you are responsible.If they grow to become useful and productive member of the society,you are equally responsible.
Education is the surest way for a child development.
Illiteracy is a disease, no medication can cure it but education can prevent illiteracy.
