*The use of make-up and cosmetics will be to transform one's appearance to an attractive features. But there are other controversies, that the use of make-up and cosmetics does more than the beauty features and skin protection; some has claimed that make-up also gives self confidence and courage.

However, those who wears make-up, still face some criticism for wearing or not wearing makeup. when it comes to wearing makeup. It is an entirely individual choice that’s up to each one to make.*

A make-up is the use of cosmetics products intended to transform a person's appearance or to make a person look more attractive or beautiful. Make-up can also be referred to as cosmetics which includes; Powders, lipsticks, skincare screams, fingernails, and toenails Polish, eye and facial make-up and so on.

Traditionally, some certain parts of this make-up items had already been used by women for so long in some Nigerian cultures before the Advent of modern make-up set.

For instance, our women had taken advantage of enhancing their own beauty or making up their facial features which requires them to use a form of black powder substance in painting their eyes and their lips, Locally known in our culture as "Tido" and also with powder. So most of these make-up items had been parts of our culture before the emergence of this modern make-up.

Yes, they are make-up for specific event. Some make-up looks differently regarding the occasions. Consider this, a person who has cultural event to attend will wear make-up that represent that culture and tradition.

She will not wears the same make-up to attend wedding party, or One who uses make-up for the purpose of acting movie on theatre will not wants to use the same make-up to circular job. So make-up are of different kinds relating to a specific occasion.

Both men and women uses make-up. Although a good number of men has indulged themselves also in the use of make-up in this modern time, but women still remain more in numbers than men.

I can allow her if she chooses to wear make-up and in a moderate way, but I will be better off, if she decided not to wear it at all.

Light make-up involves the use of some basic facial cosmetics moderately which also add to the person's natural beauty.

Heavy make-up characterized much cosmetics application that makes the person to look so glamorous and sometimes the may appear weird and also comes with side effect.

Probably, everyone has their own personal preference and experience, but the following may suggests some reasons they may do such;

Lack of trust and insecurity is the issue in this case, Such a partner would belief that if he allow his partner to wear make-up he might easily loose her or she might look attractive to someone else.

He may wants to save some finances. regarding the nature and the level of makeup that the spouse may want to wear, even though he admired make-up from other women in his own case he wouldn't want to take the cost.

Tattoo is not part of make-up. The following are the reasons;

Tattoo involves the use of needle equipment to deposit some kind of chemical substance to the body and can last for years to clean off, and those wearing tattoo, wears it for identification mark or a kind of symbol and in most societies, people with tattoo can be seen as irresponsible.

But the use of make-up is to enhance beauty or appearance. and can easily fade away.
