Introduction
Saving and spending have been a part of human existence from time immemorial. Imagine there was nothing like saving and, especially, spending the world would have been a boring place to be. Interestingly, from my own observation, I've come to realize that people spend more and save less. Even the poorest of the poor still spend money because they must eat and also acquire the basic amenities to make life comfortable in their own little way.
So, everyone spends money in one way or the other.

What then is saving and spending?
Saving is the act of setting a particular amount of money aside for future investment or for unknown occurrences. Saving can be done daily, weekly, monthly and even yearly, depending on your real income. While spending is the money used in exchange for goods and services. Goods like groceries, electronics, cosmetics, clothes and the rest. People are in different categories, so they spend according to their income. People in high class spend a lot on living a luxurious life because they earn more and people in middle class spend less than high class, while people in lower class make do with what they have.
Inflation and my saving culture:
I was taught how to save and why I should practice the act of saving by my parents, especially my dad. On one faithful day, my dad called me and asked me to sit down, that he had something very important to discuss. Lo and behold, it was about saving. Before that time, I had a habit of spending every penny I had believed to get another. I was meant to understand that there are no better moments or days to save, that saving is a matter of decision. The only way I've learned to save even at inflation is to cut down on my expenditures. Only spending on those things I'm in dire need of.
How does steemit help my saving culture?
Steemit is a great help when it comes to saving, because it has a way of not letting me have access to all the funds. Steemit saves half, 75%, even at times 100% of my earnings in the form of steem power for emergency purposes. Steemit has helped a lot of other people to build the future of their dream.
My Saving Target:
Sincerely, my financial target has been up and down. Unlike before, things were very affordable, thereby spending less. To save and to keep to target was quite easy then, but now it is hard to consistently save a particular amount.
In conclusion
Don't just save, always have plans on what the saving is for, because it will give you the will power to keep saving. Learn to save and spend a little to avoid financial bankruptcy. The only way to escape famine is by saving.
I will love to invite @bossj23, @uduak01, @goodybest to join in this contest.
