My neighborhood watch #53 - Reporting events around us

Its always a pleasure participating in a community such as steem4nigeria community, i am @emmaboy23 and I hope all is well and fine. Its Another lovely week and I am here to partake in this contest titled my neighborhood watch week 53 and I would like to thank @xkool24 for always bringing up such a wonderful topic to participate in.

This week has really been a busy and a stressful week, both in my neighborhood and in my life but it all worked out for the best. Without wasting much time I will be reporting the latest events happening in my area this week, it was about last month I traveled and as always the condition of the roads were bad, vehicle could not move without going through what we call bump, Well this all changed this week when i came back. As I was on my way back, having already prepared to meet a bad and a bumpy road but to my surprise the road was okay, no hold up or neither was the vehicle I was in moving in a side way direction, I finally saw that the government has worked on some part of the road and are still undergoing construction.

Having been away for so long I didn't know what have happened or what brought the government to do such a thing like this because we that live in that area has all lost hope on the government. When I got to my area and took a stroll around the neighborhood and saw the things which the government is constructing it was like a surprise and a celebration. In recent times before the construction began , the people of my neighborhood has tried to call the attention of the government to fix the road but they refuse to come to our aid. So imagine the kind of joy I felt when I saw them fixing the roads.

Fixing this roads will help reduce and prevent a lot of bad things from happening in my neighborhood like at night, due to the condition of the roads cars are not able to move fast enough and as such allowing armed robbers to attack people in cars at night and stealing their cars. It can also help improve transportation and movement of goods and people from one place to another without stress, the roads close to my neighborhood is one of the major roads most transporters pass to deliver goods and as such if the government is able to fix this road it will enable them pass with ease and reaching their desired destination on time. I honestly pray that they finish what they have started and do not abandoned this construction.
