  • Can you share a situation where a mistake taught you an important lesson?

Mistake is another way of learning. We learn through our mistakes, and you can't be a guru without making a mistake. The mistake that taught me a lesson was the period I ordered a jbl speaker through Facebook platform. I saw the jbl speaker that was posted on the Facebook
marketplace i ordered for it, and the vendor sent his number to me. I called and spoke with him, and he agreed to the price we negotiated. Then he asked me to send him money, and i told him i couldn't do that until I received my package. So he keeps on disturbing that i should trust him and even goes further by saying he's a Muslim that he can't do bad to me. To cut it short, he finally convinced me, and i sent him the money 65,000 naira, then he forwarded a number to me, and he said the phone number is for the delivery person that's bringing the item. I called the number, and the guy said he's on his way, and after a few hours, i called again. The number was off, and I had to call the vendor his own number is off, too. That was when i started to discover it's a scam for the two numbers to go off at the same time. Throughout that day, those numbers were off, and up to date, I haven't received the jbl speaker, which i paid for, so it taught me a big lesson. Now, I don't pay for any items online, even the delivery fee, until the items get to me. Secondly, I don't trust anybody again, no matter the religion you belong to. This happened here in Nigeria. Let's us be careful out there and know the type of vendors we're dealing with.

  • How do you handle setbacks or failures, and what have you learned from them?

To me, whenever I fail in anything, i don't use to see it as the end point because it's also part of life. Failure is another way of multivation. When you fail, it's not only telling you that you didn't do well but it try to let you know the areas that you are weak so that you can be able to identify the faults and improve. Morals, I learnt never to give up no matter the numbers of times you fail, but try to figure out the exact thing that makes you fail and find a solution to it.

Setbacks have caused many people to give up from pursuing their goals. It wasn't really easy when I witnessed Setback, and all my thoughts were that I'm starting afresh. But I handled it with believing in myself, self multivation, and hope.

  • Have you experienced a moment that made you appreciate the value of kindness or empathy?

It is good to show empathy or kindness to everyone, a friend of mine, Victor stood by my side when i needed help. I was sick and couldn't have the strength to go to the pharmacy to buy drugs, but this friend of mine left what he was doing and came to support me. He went to the pharmacy and explained how the situation of my body was before the pharmacist gave him some drugs. He was running up and down to make sure my body was okay. God bless you, friend 🧡 this was the reason why i appreciate the value of kindness.

  • What role does perseverance play in achieving your goals, and can you share an example?

Perseverance plays an important role when it comes to achieving your goals, and it helps to make progress even when you are faced with tough challenges, failure, and setbacks. When there's no perseverance, then the spirit of giving up will be easier. For instance, when I came newly in steemit platform, I was finding it difficult to complete a contest and they was a lot of mistakes but through the help of preservation and self confidence i didn't give up. I'm the one benefiting now. It is no longer hard for me, and i learned from my mistakes.

  • What lesson(s) have you gained in life that you would love to share with us.

Here are the key lessons that i have learnt and experience also. In this life, do not trust anybody and don't share your secret with people they might be happy with you, but you dont know what's in their mind. To be kind with people because no one knows tomorrow and equally be sincere and respectful in whatever you're doing. Sincerity and respect have helped me a lot to gain favour and trust from different people because it's through sincerity that you will find trust.

Thank you, my wonderful friends. Always remember to be kind to people, and whenever you encounter setbacks or failures, do not think it's over. Rather, stand firm and face the challenge, never up .
