*Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 59: Adapting to Changes that come with a change of environment.

Greetings, my good friends in Steem4nigeria. How are you guys doing today? I'm also managing myself as well because our country is now frustrating us. I appreciate @Steem4nigeria for organising this amazing context for us to engage in.

*What difference did you notice as a result of the change in the environment?

When i relocate to lagos, i notice different types of changes like bad water and high cost of living. The water was not something you could drink or even use to cook. But in my place at ebonyi State, we have clean water that will drink and will also do not spend money in buying water. But here in lagos State lekki' phase one precisely their water is very bad there's no how you can treat it to become like the one we have in my home town. Secondly the prices of things are too expensive, could you imagine to prepare a small meal you will be spending alot of funds. But in my former location, you can use as little as you have and prepare a delicious meal for yourself.

*How did you cope/ how are you adapting to the new environment?

There's nothing i can do, so I have to manage myself and hustle more to meet up with the new environment challenge. In terms of the water aspect, I'm buying water to cook and to drink. i have been to it for a long time, and I'm getting used to it. Then, the cost of things like food stuffs, I just quit buying food at the restaurant i cook in my house to able me save money. I even bought a washing machine to wash my clothes, then i ironed by myself because the cost of each piece of clothes in the laundry place can buy you food at the restaurant. That was how i was able to adapt to the new environment changes.

*If you were asked to choose, would you prefer the old environment to the new or otherwise? Share with us your reasons.

I prefer the new environment because there are more opportunities to make funds than the old place. The old environment was the price of things looks shipper and the water was very clean but will find it difficult to make funds because there's know job opportunities. In this new place, there are job opportunities, good roads and good weather to do your business without rain disturbance. The level of salaries in this new place is higher than the old place and as the salary is higher that's how the expenses are too. So it better you collect the big salary and plan how to manage yourself.
