What really went wrong?:- My plantain ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ตwas uprooted by a strong wind ๐ Strom
Hello fellow Nigerian's & Steemians! ๐
Actually, It's been a pretty while, and I hope everyone is great!. How was your weekend!, I believe that we really enjoyed it, as most of us went to different recreational events center to entertain yourself, hahaha ๐คฃ ๐ well, is good.
So today I want to share with you about my plantain ๐ฑ garden, actually, I would have loss a lot due to a heavy wind ๐ strom, so i will be eleburating everything in details, so let's go.
Well, I could remember around last year ending when I visited one of my secondary school mate, so when I got to his house, he was harvesting some of his plantains which was already bought by a buyer already. So when he told me the prices he sold each of the plantain I shouted ๐ฒ๐ณ and from that day I picked interest of joining the business.
I now decided to utilized the vacant spaces at my backyard for cultivating various crops and plants, but most especially, I reserved enough space for the plantain, because according to my friends garden i noticed that plantain always take much space when the mature.
So that my friend was the one who helped me and get the Younger ๐ฑ Plantain and now replanted it at my backyard were i made a space for it, he gave me some guild lines on how i will be nurturing it until it matured, i was very happy on that very evening because I have used my eye to gather the whole money i would make from the business ๐๐คฃ๐คฃ, so from that day i began to nurture the plantain by watering them every morning and evening and i also make sure that there is enough sand at the ridge.

That was on Sunday night when there was a heavy rain fall ๐ง๏ธ, actually, everyone was at slept so we didn't know what was happening, so when I woke up in the next morning, I decided to go around the corner, reaching to the backyard i noticed that some of the plantain that has ermahgerd was uprooted by the heavy wind at night, i was very angry ๐ก and unhappy, because one of my customer at the market has already paid in advance money ๐ฐ for those plantains.
I would have encountered a big loss.after all months of nurturing and weeding, so if not that I took an immediate action to protect those plantains, maybe the worst meant have happened. And my believe is that when i will sell all of them i will make a great profit from it by the grace of God.
So truly, I love planting and agriculture, and with my little experience I learnt that plantains are a significant source of carbohydrates and are rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals. They contain high levels of antioxidants that help fight free radicals, along with notable amounts of vitamin C that can strengthen immune health and reduce the risk of heart-related problems and improve mood. Here's the scientific classification of the plantain:
- English Name: plantain
- Family: Plantaginaceae
- Botanical Name: Musa paradisiaca
