Diary Game|| 05-01-2025|| First Sunday of the Year 2025 was Nice and also Stressful

Dear diary,

It is indeed really good to wake up with the joy of knowing that, today is my first Sunday in the year 2025. This day is very unique and all thanks be to God for making it possible for me to witnessed this day and it was indeed very special and lovely.

I woke up very early in the morning full of joy and happiness to prepare for today's Sunday Service, after our family morning devotion I put on the electric heater in other to heat our bathing water but few minutes afterward the Power Distribution Company interrupted the light and we had just some little LP gas left which by my wife's opinion cannot be sufficient enough to heat the water for the three of us.

We waited hopping the light would be restored but unfortunately it wasn't, I had to manage to bath with the one that was on the heater before the light was interrupted like that while my wife and kid had to wait until after returning from Church because they cannot managed and average warmed water like I did but to have a hot bath because of the harmattan season.

Reaching the Church office I engaged myself on my usual office routines for every Sunday morning before Service which is completing the Program Schedule for the Service, the Announcement and any other information related stuff for the service.

I joined the other Pastors for our usual Ministers Pre-service Prayer Meeting, I shared all ministerial functions among the available Pastors before the commencement of the main service and we all moved down to the Church Sanctuary immediately and the service was opened with prayer and followed by high praise and worship by the Church's choir.

Today being the first Sunday in the year 2025 happens to be our Special Pre-21 Days Prayer and Fasting Communion Service and the topic of my message today was Understanding the Wonders in Prayer and Fasting, the service was really Impactful and all thanks to God for the success of this service.

After the service I went back to my office and attended to as many that came to see me for one thing or the other. We snapped some pictures with my wife before returning back home after an owesome moment of encounters in today's service.

On our way back the unfortunate happened which made me puffed up because myself and my wife were seriously stressed up. My bike all of a sudden on our way refused to engaged gear, I had to push it to a mechanic workshop very far away from where the problem started, reaching the workshop it wasn't difficult to get a mechanic today even though today is Sunday because I work in the Northern part of my country in a Muslim community.

After the caused was diagnosed, I got the shocking news that the shaft rod that the front sprocket is fastened up on needed to be changed which will lead to bringing down the bike engine completely.
I looked at my wife and was very angry seeing her stranded with our little baby and we still have a long distance to cover back, I was told by the mechanic that there wasn't any alternative other than bringing down the engine and they can't handle that.

They directed me to another place which is very far away from there, I couldn't help it because it means I will have to look for another alternative for my wife and kid to return home while I push the bike to the place they directed me to.

I was asking myself how many hours it will take me to get there, I then made a suggestion to the mechanic which at first he argued but later agreed to try. Interestingly the suggestion worked perfectly and we returned home with the bike, I really thank God for that.

Reaching home, seing that my wife was very tired due to the recent experience, I quickly changed my clothes into something different and entered the kitchen and turned eba swallow which was different from what she intends to cook for the day while she relaxed since we have egusi soup available in the house already.
After turning the swallow, I package it inside nylon and then my wife helped me as we dishes it out as you can see in the pictures below.

The remaining day was to sleep and later I woke up and joined my wife to watched movies until we both retired to bed.
