The Diary Game For 24/03/2024 By @chiomi
when I woke up from sleep, l washed my face, drank a cup of water and went for morning devotion with my family.
When we were done with the morning devotion; some of my siblings and I went to fetch water from a nearby borehole tap while others were doing other house chores. When we were done, we had our breakfast, took our bath and dressed up for service.
It was a Palm Sunday and it had been announced in previous service that all members should dress up in white or a touch of white. So we put on our white clothes, mine was a white skirt and blouse

When we reached the church it was so sparkling with many people wearing white. We moved out for street procession singing and hailing him (Jesus) 'hosanna in the highest'.
After the street work we went back to the church to start the main service. In the service the preacher ELDER UDUAK AKWAOWO talked about THE NAME OF JESUS. That the name of Jesus is very important in our lives. And there was a sentence he made in the course of that service that ‘though the cost of cement increases and the time comes for us to build our own house we will build it'. When the service was over we greeted some people and set home.
When we came back home from church, I removed my dress and change to a house wear. After that, two of my siblings and I went to the kitchen to prepare lunch which was pepper soup and rice.
When the food was ready I and my family members eat it together in love. When we were done eating we washed our plates, clean up the place we stayed to eat, and took a rest.
When electrical power was restored, we watched film, played games and had our dinner. When we where done with our dinner, I brought out my MP3 played songs and my siblings and I sang and danced for up to an hour before my mum said 'it is okay’ that we are disturbing her and instructed my siblings who are still writing exam to go and read their books. My dad came back, we had our night prayer, went to our different rooms to sleep at about 9.45pm.
In all, it was a joyful Palm Sunday. The church’s dress code and the street procession was so exciting. I look forward to participating in next year’s Palm Sunday by God’s grace. To God be all the glory.
