A warm greetings to you steemians in @steem4nigeria. How was your night today, I hope it was great. I want to appreciate the coordinator of this contest tagged “Mother's Love; a time to celebrate and cherish”.

In your understanding, who is considered a mother, and what are the duties of a mother?

Who I consider as a mother, is a female gender who give birth to child/children, and provide love for them, teach them to believe in themselves and not to compare themselves with any one instead see the good ones in them and copy it.
Who I also considered as a mother is one who fosters a child and rise the child with motherly love.

Duties of a mother includes some of the following.
An intercessor
A manager of the family
Care for the family

What are some of the sacrifices that mothers make for their children?

Sacrificing her time for them to make them happy.
Sacrificing her food for her children to eat and be full.
Don’t mine borrowing money to support their children education.
Sacrificing her sickness for her children to get batter not minding if her sickness is more serious.
Sacrificing to stay awake to watch her children sleep.

How does a mother’s love shape a person’s character and development?

A mother love shape her children by helping them pursue their dream and accomplishes it

How can we celebrate and show appreciation for our mothers and their love?

Mother love need to be appreciated everyday of our lives despite the situation we find ourselves. Little things do not matter but when you give it to you mother you know it the must. Sacrificing the little time to gist her instead of pressing our phone. Knowing what makes her happy and doing it.
