SEC WK2 : The language in my country
I want to appreciate the coordinator for this great contest tagged: My Language My Country.
When we talk about language you see that it is a particular style of speaking or writing through that makes it easy for communication.
The name of my country is NIGERIA. And I am proud to be from it (NIGERIA). Nigeria is a country for all, it is a country with natural substance, it is a country where Christianity is promoted.
The main language that can be found in my country are:
- English
- Igbo
- Yoruba
- Hausa
- Ibibo
When it comes to the language am familiar with. I consider them only three (3). And the are:
- English
- Igbo and
- Ibibo.
This language has helped me intense of communicate/interacting with customers.
Did you know that knowing different languages help in growing business. As a business person, without knowing different languages you can not be able to communicate well with them.
Talking of life. Knowing this languages will make people see you different from other, it will help you, knowing that wherever you go you will not feel left behind. In workplace where am working one of my friend is from ibibo and the other is from igbo. So when I want to say something to my ibibo friend and do not want my igbo friend to know what we are saying so I will speak in ibibo.
Yes I will be willing to teach them this languages the one I know and the one I don’t know I will want them to learn/ know it too.
The reason why I willing to teach them is for easy communication. When they know different languages it will them to communicate/feel free with people wherever the fine their self and not to be afraid of them.

Truly language helps in business, as customers who can relate with you in their dialect will most likely patronise you. Teaching your children different languages will expand their knowledge base and help them as they grow up. I wish you the good success in the engagement challenge.

Communication aids better bond and rapport,
Nigeria here have many different languages and cultural heritage,
But on learning different diverse languages apart from our mother tongues is indeed a great tool.
As you said it helps a lot and don't let us left behind in any gatherings and so knowing many languages we can grow our business at different angles with ease.
The example you sitr at your workplace is very relevant, it's not all story one must here some needs to be hidden.

Nigeria as the giant of Africa is a country that has diverse culture and language. Our languages spoken around the country is numbered about 500. This figure shows the strength of this country. Being a multilinguist is a good thing. That's why I want to learn how to speak Igbo. Teaching your children your mother tongue will ensure that the language doesn't go into extinct.
