Good afternoon my fellow steemian @steem4nigeria,it's a pleasure to be here. Today I want to be sharing to you guys how my day went on 28th day of December 2024

My dairy was base on attending a funeral of a Relative, which happens to be my brother's father in-law. We all know the bible says that in the book of Ecclesiastes 3:1-4 it's says there's a time for everything under the sun, a time to born and a time to die, a time to plant a time to uproot what is planted, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to break down and a time to build up, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.

So on that faithful day of 25th of September 2024 it was my in-laws time according to that same Ecclesiastes 3 verse 2 which says there's "a time to born and a time to die ,a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted". So the bible verse is trying to say that there's a time for everything under the heaven.

On before the ceremony preparation of Mr Anietie Etim funeral ceremony ,it was already planned and date was fixed to 28th December 2024, so our family being the in-law of the demised family went on to console our daughter in-law.

On 27th December, our family went to the demised family to help them in preparation of things before the funeral and it was a night staying awake till 3 am in the morning

The picture above was taken at night with my nephew. After I was done assisting at the kitchen (my share of task was to select water leaves) , there was a space to sleep and went inside to sleep while my children and my nephew where the one in charge of the disc jockey

As I wake up early in the morning around 6am in the morning, I went to the kitchen and continue with rendering assistant to other women at the kitchen, so at the I was given a task to slice the afang leaves which happens to be our native leaves for cooking

While I was at the kitchen the demised family went to the mortuary to carry the corpse of Mr Anietie Etim and it was so paining that I wasn't done at the kitchen to follow along side to escort the body to the church . After I was done slice afang leaves I also assist in packaging the fufu

It was so annoying that before I was done at the kitchen the funeral ceremony has almost coming to an end , so after I was done bathing the undertaker brought the corpse back from church and he was put in the grace . It was so sadden to see the demised family crying so deeply cause they won't see their father again.

The death of Mr Anietie Etim was so so a sadden one because he was still in his early 50s years old , and no one really knows the cause of death but only God
