It's 7th September - A day to Remember || Join Virtually and Witness A Steemian Exchange Marital Vows
The day has come to stay, a day a steemian named @ubilool on steemit won't forget. I was with joy I made the announcement post of this Steemian's traditional marriage 6 days ago. He found his little flower which he'll made a public declaration that he would nurse and take care of the flower the way the gardener did or even more than. The event is going to be held in Nsit Atai L.G.A, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

From the invitation above, you can see with me that the marriage would commence by 12pm UTC but as today could have it, the weather may change the time a bit to 1pm UTC as it has been raining since morning. We don't count this as a total disappointment though. Rain or no rain, we would rock the event and the vows would be made. To those who would be joining virtually, I specified that this would be possible through WhatsApp social media platform to accommodate those who have issues in other social media like telegram and discord.

Irrespective of the fact that he's not as reputable a steemian, he's part of the steemit family. He needs our support physically and otherwise. Before today, e made preparations yesterday in his compound with regards to how he'll entertain his guests who'll be coming from far and near. These were the preparations we made as I was there from 4pm-9pm Nigerian Time, offering assistance.
I arrived at the compound of @ubikool late and left late though. Rain actually hindered certain things but as we could have it, we were left with no options but to continue doing what we know how to do best. Let me give you a little expo of what will be there.
The women ubikool kept in charge of the kitchen arranged fish from the river side, sold at an affordable price in large quantities. The fishes were prepared, floured and then fried in a deep fry pot as shown in the pictures below. The use of firewood makes the cooking faster and sweeter.
I was just going round one place after another capturing what was done as there were a lot of women there to offer assistance.

These are the three major foods prepared to entertain his guests today. This is a little expo. It's going to be a traditional marriage so we are going to be traditional today in both food, dance and dressing. It's few hours to the event. My dancing shoes are ready even though the rain tends to be a hindrance.
