INTRODUCTION

Friendship after marriage can trigger a wide range of feelings and experiences. For many people, getting married represents a new beginning and joy, but it may also be a moment when friendships alter or end.

How do you see continuing friendship after Marriage.

I will say Continuing friendships after marriage can be sometimes challenging, but to me it's not impossible. It is very important to remember that friendships change over time, and it's okay if your friendships look different after you get married, but friends will always be friends as families will always be families. Even though marriage is going to change alot of things but we should make an effort to keep in touch with our friends, even if it's just a quick text or email.

We should try to schedule regular times to catch up, whether it's a weekly phone call or a monthly date to have a drink and bites. You can't just throw aways good times just because you are married. Be honest with your friends about your time and energy constraints. Especially when you are trying to balance job and taking care of the family.
I would also say we should be open to making new friends who understand your new liway of life

Do you encourage calling besties and treating your friends so dearly after Marriage?

Yes. It is vital to maintain contact with our friends even after marriage. It is understandable that we sometimes feel overwhelmed by life's obligations, yet making time to invest in our friendships is still worthwhile. Consider marrying a man who travels frequently, while your family is dispersed and your friends are the only ones around with whom you can communicate. That is one major reason to stay in touch with your friends.

It will get to a point when we won't be able to see our friends as often as we once did but that doesn't mean the friendship has ended, a phone call, text, or quick chat on any social networking platform can go a long way. Alot of us spend a lot of time on social media, and I don't see anything wrong with reconnecting with our friends the way we did before. I would also advise that if you have the opportunity to see your friends in person, any time or any day make an effort to connect and enjoy each other's company. Marriage should not be used to end a good friendship

What experience have you or someone encountered positively or Negatively that should encourage or discourage such friendship.

So far, I've heard accounts from people who have had both positive and negative experiences with maintaining friendships after marriage. Some people have complained trouble finding time to communicate with friends, especially when they have children and other responsibilities. Many people have also reported that they have been able to communicate with their friends, albeit not as regularly as they would like. They've mentioned that having friends with whom to talk and share their life has brought them a lot of comfort and satisfaction. But regardless friends will always remain friends

What is your personal opinion or view on continuing friendship after Marriage.

Well, I don't have a personal experience with marriage because I have never been married, but from what I've observed and learned from married people is that, it's important to be realistic about how friendships might change after marriage. It's not uncommon for friendships to take a backseat when people get married and start families, it is a usual thing, it happens everyday. That been said, it's still very possible to maintain close friendships even after those life changes. I requires just a bit of intentionality and communication.

One thing is to recognize that your friendships might look different, but that doesn't mean they're any less important Sometimes, they might just be your only option, in most cases. And so it is not good to leave their side when you get married. There are certain things that might not be involved again but it is still very important to enjoy your friendship after marriage.
