I'llEIGHT SKILLS THAT WILL PAY DIVIDENDS FOR LIFE: PART I

Good day to you all members of this wonderful community, I hope you all are doing fine and had a good night rest and hope this post meets you well.
This is the first part of a two part post, in a total of eight skills that pay dividends for a lifetime, this first part will be containing the first four skills and hope you enjoy reading.

SPEAKING UP

The ability to be able to control your speech, your tongue and convey you thoughts and ideas effectively is like attaining perfection, and that is why mastering this fundamental skill will yield changes and results in our lives that will pay dividends forever.

It is important that we do let anything or anyone prevent us from saying what we need to say or make anyone make us feel like our thoughts and ideas are best kept in our head.

It is important that we put the fear of loosing control of our tongue by not saying what we should say above the fear of offending people with what we have to say or the fear of being wrong or being ridiculed or laughed at.

When we develop just the ability to say what we need to say, what we want to say it will open countless doors of opportunities to you and help you you reach your full potential.

HAVING CONFIDENCE

Having the quality of confidence is very important in order to attain success in every or any aspect of one's life, confidence is defined as the belief, certainty and trust in oneself. It is a feeling of self assurance.

Confidence is a very important skill to hone or master in every aspect of your life because, every good goal, big winning or achieving of the impossible starts from the mind, so if you cannot be self assured, or know for a certainty that you can do what you want to do, if you can not visualize it in your mind what is to say that you can carry out.

Confidence is a major factor that affects how you do what you do or how you say what you say and as we know what we say or what we do is not all that important but is how we do or say it. So master this skill and see how the results will change your life forever.

LISTENING WISELY

It is important that we all pay attention to how we listen, effective listening footers effective communication and helps build connections and relationships with people around us, as you know no man is an island, effective listening helps make and keep friends that we will surely need even if it is just to help maintain a successful social life.

How does one listen wisely? It involves focus, attentiveness, empathy and ability to sieve and locate important information over alot of words and sentences spoken at a particular time.

KNOW THE REAL YOU

As a result of influence from society and from social media platforms it is very easy to get lost trying to imitate others or give up on our opinions and principles in life that are frowned upon and just follow the crowd. So amidst all this different personalities we are influenced to adopt we should never forget who we really are.

This life is like a war, we are in a constant battle to be better and to better ourselves and our lives, so the same in which a commander who is at war needs to know the ability and needs of his army their limits, the same way we too need to know and master ourselves,to know which goals are to high to be achieved at a present time, to when to accept defeat and so on.
