How A Movie Day Turned Into An Unplanned Steemit Meetup.

Since our first cinema outing with Uyo Steemians, we've made it a regular weekend tradition. Our goal is simple, to have fun and build a sense of community among our Steemit family. On Wednesday, December 25th, @bossj23 and I planned to recreate that special experience. We shared the plan in our WhatsApp group, and as expected, our fellow Steemians showed enthusiasm and started making plans to join us.

that Wednesday afternoon. We were excited to share a warm moment together. The mall's cinema typically offers a convenient arrangement, no entry fee, just purchase a drink or popcorn, and you're set. However, our cinema plans took an unexpected turn that day. We were informed that the entry fee would be 3,000 naira (approximately 9 STEEM), which we hadn't budgeted for.

Frustrated but united, we devised a swift alternative to rescue the day for the Steemians who had traveled to join us. We collectively agreed to converge at @eliany's Stand 176 at the Uyo Christmas Village Google Road map where we would spend quality time together, support her business, and enjoy each other's company. Before heading to the Christmas Village, we Steemians, being avid photography enthusiasts, couldn't resist capturing some memorable moments together.

After capturing those unforgettable moments, courtesy of bossj23's photography skills, we received a call from @ngoenyi, informing us that she had already arrived at the Christmas Village. She was waiting for us to join her at her table. We swiftly wrapped up the photo session and hopped on a keke, paying 1,000 naira (approximately 3 STEEM) for the ride. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find four additional Steemians already seated at the table, wining and dining with @ngoenyi. It was a delight to meet @okere-blessing @benton3 @fortwis09 and @wizzyboy3 who were all enjoying each other's company.

The joy was mutual, and we were warmly welcomed by the group. We joined the table, merging our energies and enthusiasm. The conversation flowed effortlessly, with valuable discussions and words of encouragement on how to navigate the Steemit platform and achieve success. After a few minutes of lively discussion, we placed our orders and were soon treated to refreshing cold drinks and delectable meat.

Let me satisfy your curiosity, it's my signature "Pomo/Peri Stew" I savored every bite of this mouthwatering dish, pairing it with a refreshing bottle of ice-cold drink. I opted for a low alcoholic beverage that day, but it perfectly complemented the rich flavors of the stew. Trust me, it tasted just as delicious as it looks. Just as we were enjoying our meal, another Steemian, @basil20, joined our lively table. He was served a plate of rice before joining in on the drinks and conversation.

After relishing our meal, some Steemians bid farewell, heading home as dusk approached. However, a few of us stayed behind, reveling in the joy of each other's company. As the evening wore on, the atmosphere became a bit subdued, prompting us to devise a plan to liven things up. That's when we decided to play a thrilling game of "Truth or Dare". The rules were simple, each person would be presented with a choice to reveal a truthful secret about themselves or take on a dare.

We all enthusiastically agreed to play along, and the game commenced, sparking laughter, excitement, and memorable moments among us Steemians. As the game unfolded, we all took turns revealing secrets and completing dares. However, in a surprising twist, the game organizer, @bossj23, and @jozzie90 found themselves on the receiving end of a dare. According to the game's rules, they were tasked with twerking in public for a few seconds😂.
