I have never been to a hike this long. Just roaming in the steep mountain streets makes me out of breath. You did an impressive job.
I fell a second after taking this picture. I used stairs for the ascend and made an impromptu plan to hike on the track all the way back. I wasn't prepared for the steep descend. A basic pair of runners and a broken branch for a hiking pole already knew my fate. 😅
This hike was also a premiere for me. To be honest, it was actually too strenuous for that. Normally I should have started with a less strenuous route. But the opportunity was there and it was too tempting :-)
On my descent, I also paid a lot of attention to where I was stepping. Photos were only taken when I was standing still. Anything else would have been really dangerous. The slopes were already very extreme and the path too narrow.
We really had the advantage that my cousin had done the tour before. He had prepared us, at least theoretically...
He really couldn't influence our physical condition ;-))
