Who Owns What in the World? Part-2
Hi. Greetings all. In this part, we will look for the largest shareholders of the earth. We know that every company runs by shares and these shares are owned by shareholders which also referred stockholders. It can be a person or a company or an institute.
If we take a look at the largest companies in the world in every sector such as food, technology, oil and gas companies, social media companies, mining companies, agricultural companies, pharmaceutical companies, airline companies, payment companies, cosmetics companies, clothing companies, online marketplaces, etc the shares are owned by some largest institutional holders.
More specifically in the very largest companies' most of the shares are owned by some common institutional assets managing companies like BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street. For example in food and restaurant companies such as Coca-Cola and MacDonald, the shares are commonly owned by those investment companies.
Another example like social media companies Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram the majority of shares are owned by the same institution. Again Amazon, eBay, Alibaba, etc are the largest online markets but the company shares are owned by the very same institutional investors.
It's not like there are no other institutional investor companies are there but the most common in every largest company's shares are owned by the same company that I have mentioned. There is a web-like relationship between all the investor companies with each other, they own each other's shares.
But the fact is at the end of the road there remain two institutional companies who own the most of the shares among all institutional companies. They are Vanguard and BlackRock.
In the next part, I will try to go through more details about Vanguard and BlackRock. Thanks for reading my post. Special thanks to @greenman and others who are supporting me.
Best Regards

Very interesting I'm waiting for the next post. Although I've been looking for information about the two financial companies (Vanguard and BlackRock). I want to know more about the involvement of these two companies in this world.
Thank you
