After the Rain - ART - DIY - drawing lesson.

Who likes rain?
I love when it rains!

I present to you my new illustration "After the Rain". Today, like all Ukrainians, I worked to the rhythm that playful drops beat out. The weather greatly influences my inspiration, which is why my drawing is so "wet".

I'm not fixating on beautifully painting flowers and leaves, I just wanted to convey this wonderful, in my opinion, atmosphere that nature gives us after abundant irrigation.

If you are not a rain lover, then I am sorry for you, because plants also like to take a shower. So what, what mud underfoot and puddles, but what green leaves are and what pleasant fresh air.

Eh .. it's a pity that the rain is over)

As for the drawing, it is very easy to draw. And now you will see for yourself:

Step 1: I draw a sketch of the future drawing, the approximate arrangement of petals, leaves and raindrops. Basically I used smooth curving lines, this will give liveliness and dynamism to the composition.

Step 2: Next, I opened a new layer and outlined the sketch with lines that will be the outline of the drawing. I used a Japanese calligraphy brush.

Step 3: Using the fill tool, paint the background with a light blue color. The background plays a big role in this, as it is important to keep the feeling of freshness.

Step 4: The petals will be soft pink. By the way, in the flower that is on the right, I finished painting a few additional petals, it seemed to me that it would be better.

Step 5: When I painted the leaves, I used different shades of green to make the drawing seem more voluminous and fun.

Step 6: Then I painted the rain drops.

Step 7: With the help of filters I added evening notes and shadow framing.
