This week, I am bringing an old creation to you, because I'm still working on a new one, sorry. Since it is old (from 3 years ago) it doesn't have a step by step tutorial as I use to share with you.

Anyway, this creation has a story, that's why I chose to go with it instead of waiting till I have my new creation done.

The story of this mask, as you may deduce, started when COVID-19 pandemic was announced.

When people people started freaking out about the use of masks, there were a lot of people taking advantage of it and getting all the masks from the pharmacies/drug stores in order to resell them at a higher cost, as it is usual in my country. After a few months of seeing this, I found a post on Facebook in which they showed different models of animated masks, and I loved it, so I decided to sew a few for myself and for giving away.

But the fact is, when I began sewing, I quickly dropped it because I found it too difficult. It took me months to retake it. Then I did better than when I started, it was exciting for me.

Since this thing wasn't for sale, I didn't care about making it all in the same kind of fabric, so I used different kinds, but it looked decent after all.

Anyway, the day I finally finished the mask arrived, I was excited seeing the results of my dedication. I couldn't believe my eyes. It was looking very good, actually.

And that very day, I received some terrible news: One of my dear uncles had died. Wow! I felt so terrible for that loss, that I erased the album I was listening to at the moment I received the news, and I decided not to give that mask to anyone as it was cursed or something.
