Good day all of my friends. How are you all? I hope you are all well. I'm fine too. I am Kavi De Silva. I am going to participate in Ukraine on Steem community organized by @strecoza Heading "Handmade" #17/2023 contest among you and today's contest. who organizes this contest every time & I thank @strecoza for organizing such an entertaining and valuable contest. I choose for this contest to show about my Vesak lanterns.
I made this Vesak lanterns in a few steps.

You only need the following ingredients to create a beautiful paper Vesak lanterns.

01) Color Tissue Papers
02) Glue
03) Scissor
04) Plastic pipes

First of all, take four or four pipes and make six equal squares. Take four of the six squares made and connect them together with the pointed ends.

Now you should finish making the basic shape of Vesak lanterns as shown in the diagram.

Now I have finished making the cage template. Next is to decorate it with colorful paper. Cut 4 squares and 8 triangles in the colors you like. For a more beautiful nest, you can use some colors of your choice or the six colors of the Buddhist flag. Now glue the squares and triangles. Do not glue the top square and bottom square of the lantern. Both should be open.

Now we are finishing the work in the lantern. The last thing to do is to decorate the cage. Take a tissue paper and fold it to a size of 2 inches. Then lay it horizontally and cut strips between 1 and 2 cm. (As shown in the photo.)

Carefully unfold the cut strips and carefully decorate the bottom edges of the cage and all 4.

Now the Vesak lantern is ready to be lit. You too can create this Vesak lantern in five simple steps. Spend a little time to create a beautiful Vesak lantern.
