Well, I do have the word, "Ukraine" written with holy rocks in my holy area, since I always root for the underdog: President Trump says Zelensky should hold an election. I agree. Putin has said, Zelensky is a dictator, and I know it may not possible to hold an election: but I think Trump's purpose is to remove one of statements Putin made.
I also watched a few episodes of the rise Vladimir Putin, History Channel. Russia's richest man was thrown into a gulag in Siberia for criticism of Putin and announcing his run against Putin. It looks to me like the democratic party tried to pull a Navalny against President Trump.
So things are being ironed out here: as for me, well I do what I can.
Thank you for not forgetting about us. 😀
The situation with the elections is complicated. At the moment, it is impossible to hold them in the initial part of the territory of Ukraine, especially in the front-line areas. In addition, how to organize the voting of a million servicemen? All this is extremely difficult.
Zelensky is intransigent and I am sure that he annoys both Trump and Putin. They would like to replace him with a person with whom it would be easier to negotiate. The problem is that the level of support for Zelensky in Ukrainian society is very high and if there were elections, he would be elected for another term.
