I thought there might be something to her theory, as technological leaps are happening literally every few years now, making it very tempting to live on just for that reason. This also increases the value of time and every additional year of life in my eyes. That's why I included the rune Jera (the rune of time) in my nickname "DJ Bоgdᛃn": it's a way for me to ask higher powers to grant me more time and wisdom to accomplish something important for the world.
