The knee highs was not so popular like Britney's here in Indonesia at that time. It's not easy to find that socks. When SNSD and JKT48 (around 2006-2009) I mean the girlbands from south korea and japan were famous in Asia, the trend is back. But, since the students here have their own uniform, can't find it at school.
Ooh i have that black with white strips too, for flirting purposes of course 🤣🤣🤣 my hubby can't stop laughing when he saw me in that sock. He said, "Goodness.. do i need to put lipstick on my lips and use cushion something so I can do cosplay as lee min ho".

Especially, your husband's reaction to the knee highs is truly a funny story. Maybe it's a matter of geographic and cultural differences (?), because we saw knee highs as quite a sexy thing. Or maybe it's just because we were actual school kids back then, and it's a whole different story to suddenly see your own wife in a schoolgirl's outfit :)
Yeah you're right, our culture is the reason. his imagination was going wild at that time, but the he got the clue.. I didn't flirt for real. I imitated a funny video he watched before 🤣🤣 but I do think about flirting when I bought the socks.
I believe that every man has their own preference about sexiness, my hubby didn't listen to Britney Spears's song. He didn't even like greenday like I do. But we shared the same interest in Coldplay, Pearl Jam and Bob Marley🙌
