Baby Dragonfly - Insects Belonging to Theorder Odonata (Orthetrum Sabina)
In my area of Indonesia it is called the rhino dragonfly, and small children usually call it helicopter, as usual I tried to start looking for the Latin name on google lens, and I found the name Orthetrum Sabina.
Orthetrum sabina is a type of animal that is still classified in the insect class and has the orthetrum genus. This dragonfly is very easy to mark, its unique shape, with a small tail extending under its back.
When I tried to find out more about Dragonfly or commonly called the Green Marsh Hawk (Orthetrum Sabina). I also tried to access a Google search and found an article describing this spider on Wikipedia, it says that:
It is a medium-sized dragonfly with a wingspan of 60-85mm. Adults are grayish to greenish yellow with black and pale markings and green eyes. Its abdomen is greenish-yellow, marked with black. It is very similar to Orthetrum serapia in appearance, with both species appearing in northern Australia. Wikipedia
Here are some photos of animals that we usually know as a Dragonfly - Green Marsh Hawk (Orthetrum Sabina). I took this photo using a smartphone camera and the help of a macro lens, hopefully you like it. 😉
