Hello friends how are you all?Hope everybody is doing well.Best wishes and best wishes to all my friends.I came back to this favorite community and did a flower photography.I really liked this flower when I saw it so I photographed this flower.

The name of this flower Pot Marigold.Scientific name of this flower Calendula officinalis.
Calendula is a short-lived fragrant flower. It is a medicinal perennial plant. The leaves are oblong-lanceolate, hairy on both sides and the edges complete or occasionally swaying or weakly serrated. The flowers are yellow, with a thick capitulum or flowerhead. Wild plant surrounded by two rows of hairy bracts. They have a single ring of ray flowers around the central disc flower. Disc florets are tubular and hermaphrodite, and are usually more intense orange-yellow in color than the female, trident, peripheral ray florets. Flowers can bloom all year round in a suitable environment. This flower is a thorny one.

In ancient Greek, Roman, Middle Eastern, and Indian cultures, the flower was used as a medicinal plant, as well as a dye for clothing, food, and cosmetics. Many of these uses still survive today.

Pharmacological studies of this plant suggest that calendula extract may have anti-viral, anti-genotoxic, and anti-inflammatory properties in vitro. Methanol extract of officinalis exhibits antibacterial activity and both methanol and ethanol extract exhibit antifungal activity.
