Beautiful Scenery Memories in Madura
Two years ago, I visited one of the islands of Java to meet with family and friends. My trip was not only meaningful because of the warm reunions but also because of the breathtaking scenery I witnessed, especially in the moments before Maghrib.
One of the things that captivated me the most was the view during twilight. As the sun began to set, the sky was painted with shades of orange, pink, and purple, creating a mesmerizing panorama. The beauty of this moment was further enhanced by the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside where I stayed. I was in a remote village in Madura, a place where nature and tradition blended perfectly.
Every evening, I made it a habit to step outside and soak in the magnificent view. The vast green fields, the gentle swaying of coconut trees, and the cool evening breeze made everything feel so serene. The distant sound of the call to prayer echoed beautifully, adding to the magical ambiance. The golden light of the setting sun reflected on the calm waters, making the scene feel almost surreal.
Perhaps the reason this experience left such a deep impression on me was that I had been living in a quiet, secluded area of the island. Unlike the busy life in the city, the simple yet stunning beauty of Madura’s nature gave me a sense of peace that I rarely found elsewhere.
Even now, whenever I think about those evenings in Madura, I feel a longing to return. The breathtaking twilight scenery, the warmth of the people, and the tranquility of the village have become cherished memories that I will never forget.
